First, I'm sorry about some people not getting it to install.  I hope you get it squared away soon.

Here's what I did and all of it worked perfectly.

Uninstalled the -400 via the Control Panel in Windows 10 Pro.

Installed the newest version of the -400.

Ran P3D 4.3 and it did not ask for an activation.

    All my liveries were there.

Quit P3D, bought and downloaded the -8.

Installed it, no AV, no firewall, no Defender.

    Added a bunch of liveries.

Ran P3D and chose Air Force One and put in my activation code.

Opened the EFB and logged into my Navigraph account and it took it, I was astonished to see the charts for KBOS sitting there pretty and very clear.

    Made a quick flight.

So I want to say thank you PMDG, you guys did a wonderful job and like others I've been waiting a long time for this.  Well done, I'm very pleased and impressed.

Yep, a big thanks from me too. 👍

Did almost the same as Jack ( different livery and airport ) with no issues at all.

Win 10 Pro64, P3D 4.3, ran everything as admin, no overclocking.

  2. As someone who works in the transport industry, there is nothing to coordinate with the straps, we put them wherever it is safe to do so without damaging the freight. They appeared to be in the most appropriate position with regards to the shape of the freight. When strapping freight down to secure it, you can NEVER have too many straps. The last thing you want is the freight shifting. Pesonally I would have had a few more straps in diferent directions to help stop any forward / aft movement, but I do not know how the supports etc were attached and maybe they were there to do that job?

  3. Thanks to all the team for the tremendous effort to get these birds out the door so quick for those of us that took the plunge to P3D V4. They are now an absolute pleasure to "fly" ( and learn ) without the dreaded OOM's.:ampun::ampun:

As Alexander just posted, I can only imagine the hours put in and expletives emitted during the process !!

  4. Just did a test departure out of KLAX with ORBX Global Base, Southern California and FSDT KLAX, and most of the sliders to the right. Got a minimum of about 30FPS and no stutters, until I quit the sim.

FX:SE, I could not even taxi to the runway before the dreaded OOM with the sliders set to the left !!

Great outcome from LM and PMDG. Many thanks to Robert and his team for the many sleepless nights they have had, much appreciated. Looking forward to doing some flights with the 744 and 777 now without any OOM's

Again, thanks for everyone's effort in getting this bird ready so quick.

  5. Fantastic news ( but not for my bank account! :takut:). Just woke up  and found out we are finally getting a 64bit simulator, ( I live in West Australia ) goodbye FSX:SE and all your OOM's, and PMDG are going to be ready shortly after. ( even better )

Thanks for the news, Robert , and all the work you guys put into making our "hobby" so authentic.

  6. To ALL of the PMDG staff, testers, artists, programmers, visionaries, etc.

    T H A N K   Y O U!

I truly wanted to say that. No complaints, no problems, no insults. Just a simple and full appreciation for what you do.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

  7. False. If Navigraph does not have any data on the airport, the airport is not included in the database.

Not much data to be had! CASA do not even list it in their chart list, the only "procedure" I could find was a requirement to be not above 1000' during circuits so as not to climb above the 1500' base for the controlled airspace above. YBBN is VERY close by. YRED appears to be a GA type airport only ( checkout the freeware FTX version )

  8. Hey guys, to anyone who may have ordered the Chief Pilot's set. I just received mine earlier today and finally perused through the Jeppesen Charts. However, they seem to be out of order. They jump around from Logan, to JFK, to LGA, back to BOS, then JFK then LGA. Could this just be a production issue or have others received their Jeppesen Charts like this? Wanted to ask the Community before submitting a ticket with PMDG. Thanks!
Expecting mine on Monday according the Fedex website, but they are still in Singapore and have to get to my house in Perth, Western Australia by Monday! Will let you know about the charts when I get them.

  9. Captains-We have reached the point where we feel comfortable letting you know that we have placed a marker on the calendar. From where we stand tonight- we anticipate that the PMDG 737NGX will be in your hands sometime in the next 7-10 days.I want to be very specific in making the following clear: Our beta team is working EXTREMELY hard to find problems in the software- and if they find anything that gives us concern, the dates might shift slightly....But if all goes well over the next few days- we anticipate releasing the PMDG 737NGX on or before 04AUG11. (My birthday- if anyone cares! :( )
:( Fedex tracker says all going well I will get my manuals August 1st ( ordered last Friday )Above quote says NGX on or before August 4th ( with the usual disclaimers ! LOL.gif )What are the chances of me getting any sleep next week? B) :(
