Hi, I have a following problem with pmdg737ngx just before touchdown. I have disabled all addons to eliminate any other possible culprits. What happens is just before touchdown immidetly after 10""feet" gpws call out fsx will freeze for up to 2 seconds then while it unfreezes it appears as you are being fast forwarded these 2 seconds hence making nice landing very difficult. I believe software 'pmdg737ngx' is doing some kind of calculation or loading of some files that causes it...??? Just my guess... It only happens with pmdg737ngx, other aircraft do not have these problems. I tried it many times many touchandgo even after freeze if I go up then back down to initiate 10 feet callout freeze will happen again, but maybe to a lesser extand. I tried renaming all directories that contain sound files that pmdg might use to sound.back only thing that it does makes the approach silent no engines nothing but the pause of 1-2 seconds is still there. Tried removing renaming effects folder to effects.back again no improvement and the pause before touch down is still present What I pmdg737 doing at this instance can it be stopped removed through unselecting some option? Again for sure it is only with pmdg737 Thanks for any help/sugestions Jacek Seroka

Hi Idahosurge Thank you very much for your answer. I have no problem to ask for feedback because I realize that there is always someone who knows more than meI was looking for information on the Internet but your reply helps me in making a final decision ,period-it is a fact that FSX will not use all of the parameters of CPU called extremeHappy LandingJ

Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Edition Gulftown 3.33GHz 6 x 256KB L2 Cache 12MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Six-Core Desktop Processor BX80613I7980X - price = 1.000 dollars Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I72600K0 - price 329.00 dollarsFor many of you this may be a funny question, but what's going onCPU for 1000 dollars in the number of Hertz is lower than that for 329 dollars, and both can be over-clockedIs this the case, whether it makes sense to buy the more expensive for FSXsuppose that I am determined to buy the CPU in order to run FSX in the end and enjoy + be happy ,no stress ,no tweaking :Applause: Happy LandingsJ

You're right, i7 960x 6 + gb ram gtx470 cannot run fsx at 30fps Smoothly with all graphics set to full (AutoGen, radius, mesh resolution, etc. Together with Microsoft Flight will be released for the 125 dollars software called” How to repair the frame rates in the Microsoft Flight Sim “for those who do not fly just like to fix itWith full support “Tweaking on Twitter”Follow me on Tweaking on Twitter :)Happy Landings
