  1. Hi PaulJust received your last message to my yahoo email address. I have responded by email from yahoo. I hope you receive it ok!!I cannot see any SPAM with your address. What address are you using?? my ian.oakrhind@yahhoo.co.uk or ianoakrhind@orange.fr ??I am still having problems with the hard over rudder deflections with my 747-400. It is not a throttle problem, it is not a joystick configuration problem..............I can get airborne by initiating the default MS Fs9 flight and selecting a PMDG 747 after reselecting the default flight to the airport of my choice. All rather laborious!!I would still like to try a complete de-install and complete new download of the PMDG747-400-V1R11 exec file. I have recently renewed my EDS with you.Anyway...I hope we are back in communication!!RegardsIan

  2. SteveI have been having the same problem with PMDG for the past 10 days. Absolutely no response when using Outlook Express but I did get a reply when using my yahoo address. A prompt reply from Paul Gollnick. However, it has now all gone quiet again!! Despite several attempts at making contact using a yahhoo address.I am in despair.....either the problem is their end or somewhere in between. It is a great shame....because when you do get a reply from PMDG Support, it is alway incredibly helpful.Good luck!Ian

  3. You are absolutely spot on!!I did, as you suggested, and loaded the default FS9 flight at start up. I even flew a circuit in the 172 and then selected a PMDG 747-400 and it flew ABSOLUTELY perfectly...........even the A/P enagaged as per normal.So....the trick to know is, that if is there is a problem with a particular a/c from a SAVED flight.....go right back to basics and start all over from the default flight. Many thanks to all you kind people who offered interesting suggestions. Maybe the above solution will be of benefit to all.As far as contacting PMDG Support...........no problem when using yahoo and I have received and sent emails to Paul Gollnick about this matter. Thanks again......end of.....Ian Oak-Rhind

  4. Thanks to all for your suggestions.I will check the rudder trimCheck that all 4 engines are spooling up in syncI will not load from a saved flightCan someone tell me how to take a screen shot! I presume that it is not a photo taken with a digital camera and then scanned back into my PC for onward delivery?Ian Oak-Rhind

  5. My 747-400 (V1-R11) has developed serious faults:Veers sharply to the right at start of take-off rollUnable to engage A/P.Basically, it has become unusable. I reported this (emails via Outlook Express)to support@precisionmanuals.com on 1st April 2008 and again a few days later. I have not received any reply or, of more concern, any automated responses. This would indicate that my emails are NOT being received by PMDG. They have always got through in the past and prompt, helpful advice has been given.I read on this FORUM about similar email problems and the suggestion was to try with gmail or yahoo.I have forwarded all my earlier emails to PMDG from my yahoo address.....still no automated response.I did however renew my EDS subscription with updateme@precisionmanuals.com................no problems getting through to them!!If anyone from PMDG reads this "cry for help" I would be very grateful if they could advise me just how I can make contact with their Support group. Many thanksIan Oak-Rhind

  6. In Topic #129097, the solution was given concerning Range Rings on the ND. This was to amend the PMDG 747400 Guages file. Okay, I amend the file, save it and the range rings appear on the ND. However, if I change aircraft, the range rings now do NOT appear and I find that the Guages file has reverted to the original text (TCAS_ShowRange Rings=o).Very frustrating.............any ideas? Many thanksIan Oak-Rhind

  7. I live in an area of FRANCE where broadband is not (yet) available. The 747-400 can only be purhased as a download. This option is totally unpractical without broadband! Is there another purchase option?? Can I download the product on another PC with a broadband connection and then transfer it across to my PC?? I have emailed PMDG with this question but I never receive a response. Many thanks.
