  1. I had exactly the same problem this evening. Seems the help dried up pretty quickly following your screenshots, oh well
  2. Having the same problem with the FBW A320. Can't get my head around this given that historically FSX had no problem with this and neither does P3D. I assume that Xplane has no problems with configuring this either. I mean, I don't know of any country/Airline that uses a feet and inches, hectopascals, kiligrams for weight and kilometres for distance/wind speed ?
  3. Yes indeed, but that doesn't answer your original question. ie. How do you stop the AP from disconnecting when you use the hat-switch for instance.
  4. Adrian,For what it's worth, I remember I solved the problem with the A340 with a panel mod which obviously fixed the offending setting. Which one ? I don't know. Maybe this could help me fix my own problem if I can track it down.Tony
  5. Hi,I usually fly the A319 but occasionally fly the A320 (usually to replicate charter flights I've been on)Last night I loaded the aircraft in the usual way, default cessna first then the A320, only to find I have no VC. Actually the VC is there but I'm about 10 metres in front of it. I can see it when I swivel round using the hat switch. Seems my position is too far forward in VC though is fine in 2d cockpit. Can anyone tell me how to correct this ?I checked the A319 and A321 and they seem fine. I also did a forum search on this and came up with similar probs re A321V, however I don't have that prob and the 321s are fine. Thanks, Tony
  6. >In FSUIPC (registered) on the technical page make sure "Discon>Elev axis for A/P" is NOT checked. This is what upset the A320 for me some time ago when I changed the setting to accomodate the Feelthere/PIC 737. As soon as I switched on AP, the aircraft nose dived. Forgot to switch it back.Tony
  7. Yea Norman, would be even easier if ATC were online more often :)
  8. BTW,Vrander, love your Airbus support page at BAV. When I first started flying the bus seriously I printed off a ton of stuff from there - extremely helpful. Particularly useful was the page about inputting fixes for procedural airports, was a godsend for approaches such as EGAA. Many thanks for taking the hocus pocus of it :)regards, Tony
  9. Hi,I had a similar problem that only mainfested itself a couple of days ago. I had a big night on vatsim tonight and it was very frustrating not to be able to use the ILS. All seemed OK but the aircraft just would not track down the GS although the ND showed it was active when APPR was pushed however the centre purple bar of the ILS was missing with no vertical bug !Afterwards I thought much about it and wondered what I'd done differently recently that had made it stop working. It then dawned on me that I had changed the default situation aircraft from the MS Cessna172 to the Baron. I reset it back to the Cessna and all seems well now. I don't know why and I don't care either, as long as it works ! Hope this helps someone in their quest for ILS landings :)BTW you shouldn't have to mess with the radnav page at all as the bus will auto tune the frequencies to the ILS runway you're landing at, as long as you input the chosen runway in the MCDU as part of your flightplan. In fact, when I first flew the bus I couldn't get the autoland to work for that very reason, because I had manually input the frequencies and course. Maybe this has been fixed in a patch since then.regards, Tony
  10. My thrust keys - + and - on the numeric keyboard seem to have suddenly stopped working. I checked the num-lock key but it doesn't make any difference.I can still use the console with the mouse to do this but it's a bit inconvenient to retard upon landing - I like to see out at this stage in the flight. Is there a config file somewhere where I can reset them ? I'd hate to have to do a re-install for something like this.regards, Tony
