  1. Hi Support:1) Do we have to uninstall previous versions of Active Sky eg AS2004.5, prior to installing ASV??2) If we already have (as I do) the latest (paid) version of FSUIPC 3.48 installed in FS2004, how do we avoid re-installing and so possibly destroying all of other assignments, including joysticks, buttons, keys, etc. Many ThanksPeter Hayes
  2. Hi JimSorry about the confusion. Are you saying that if you set off without a FP, and if you just keep flying AS will automatically update the weather no matter where you fly? That is, there is no need to refresh the program once it has been set from an initial set off point? In another scenario, if you set off say from KVPC to fly to KACK and you set up the flight using AS2004. If you wish to fly the return leg (without exiting FS04), would you have refresh AS2004 and import the return leg from KACK to KVPC or will AS2004 already be set for that area?Peter Hayes
  3. Hi JimAs an addition to this: Say if yoy start a flight WITHOUT a flight plan and use AS2004, can you, when you have gone say around 50nm, switch back to AS and "refresh" the weather using the ICAO code of the nearest airport that you have flown to, and hence continue flying without a FP but using each airport nearest to you to re-refresh the weather?I hope that I have explained this so that it can be understood.I endorse the original post that this is an outstanding addition to FS04 and that I have the latest upgrade on board and it runs perfectly.Peter Hayes
  4. Hi JimThanks. That confirms exactly what I thought. As ever great support for a great productPeter Hayes
  5. In FSUIPC 3.48 we have two boxes on the initial opening screen relating to weather. One is "CLEAR ALL WEATHER" and the second : "WEATHER SETTINGS OFF" (It used to be "MINIMUM WEATHER DEFAULTS"). Do we click both boxes prior to starting AS2004.5 and performing a "REFRESH" (CONFIGURE, LOAD FLIGHT PLAN, etc), or do we just click on "CLEAR ALL WEATHER"? Do we have to click both each time prior to starting AS2004.5? Could this be clarified please? Do we still have to manually disable the weather options, so that we don't destroy our buttons, keys, and joystick assignments or will these two buttons disable the FSIPC weather options automatically? The manual seems to indicate clicking both options, but the is slightly confusing with regard to default assignments?? HELP!!(What a great program, just can't wait for ASV)Thanks in advancePeterH
  6. If you wish to set up an IFR flight in FS2004 where you only want 'minimum IFR visibility' for the flight and final approach, do you have to use the default FS2004 weather settings or can you manually set an appropriate overcast setting via ActiveSky? Peter Hayes
