  1. I've been playing with the diff settings. As long as I have the FFB turned off, it's sweet! I've never had it running this good. I did turn on the FFB w/out the Ground Bumps and it was still choppy. I can live w/out the stick shakers, etc.. for now. I still have PC133 memory in this thing so an u/g may help...Thanks again!Alan KCOS TRACON
  2. John,I disabled the FFB on the joystick and voila! The sim came to life like I've never seen it before! Kinda sucks that MS can't make their own products work with each other. I'm running scenery at max, FS Water, Active Sky, Ultimate Traffic @ max settings and it's very nice. Thanks for the tip!AlanKCOS TRACON
  3. John,I do have MS FFB version 1. I didn't think of that. I'll disable it and see.. Thanks for the tip.Alan
  4. Anyone have some ideas for this? I recently reinstalled Windows XP Pro and FS9. After using Jim's optimization guide, FS is nice and smooth in the air. But on the ground, it's like watching a very slow slide show. No matter what plane (stock or addon) I use, it's not smooth when taxiing, on the runway, etc.. it's very very jerky.I have a Athlon XP 2400+ overclocked to 2.1ghz and the ATI Radeon 9600 Pro vc using the 5.1 cat drivers.Just wondering why it would do this or what can I change?thanksAlanKCOS TRACON (the real thing)
