Did you turn off sky colors, cloud structures, cloud models, etc in ASCA?

do that and then reinstall sky force textures into the sim and see if that works.

Thanks I think I fixed. But I don’t know why, I’m missing cirrus clouds

  2. Hi all.

i installed REX FORCE P3D. I’m using AS + ASCA, but I disable ASCA by changing extension to *.off to avoid starting every time I start AS.

So I use AS ENGINE + REX.

does anyone knows why every time I start AS, the sky color changes?

    Thanks all

Although you don't mention which version of P3D you have installed, you can try the file courtesy of IniBuilds, following the information in the notes.

At the moment it only ensures compatibility with the P3D v4 and V5 versions.

    Hi!

thanks for reply. I’m using 5.3 P3D. I have also try inibuilds dynamic lighting, but still having same problem. Nothing changes.

ive done everything from inibuilds.  (Disable dynamic lighting from scenery, adding the new Bgl…)

    Hi there,

You can try to increase the brightness value in HDR settings. Other than that there's not much you can do other than using a shader program like Envshade or RDshade.

I’m using both ENVDIR and RDshade

Hi juaness! I'm on P3Dv4.5 so it's probably not the same brightness / lighting as P3Dv5, but I use a tweak because I think both day and night is too dark in my sim with HDR brightness set to 1.000000. However, if you think the daytime view is not to dark in your sim, then the following tweak is useless to you. I use it to make all my too-dark-views brighter, such as Virtual Cockpit and all the outside views. Let's say I want a brighter VC. Then I open cameras.cfg and find "Title = Virtual Cockpit". At the end of that section, I add this line:
    LightAmplification=1.25

I guess I then get 25% brighter view both day and night. I also add the LightAmplification=1.25 line in the views section for each addon aircraft in aircraft.cfg if I think the views are too dark. This might work for you, or it might not. If you don't like it, you can try another value better suited for P3Dv5 and your screen, or revert back to the original cameras.cfg / views. Or perhaps it doesn't work at all in P3Dv5? I'm quite happy with my sim lighting now, so I don't want to change a thing. I don't know for sure if moving the HDR brightness slider to the right would produce the same result, as kmax59 suggests. If so, then the tweak is worthless, but I believe I tested this years ago and imagined the tweak to be better.

    Thanks, I’ll give a try

Will never happen. I own everything that FSL has ever produced, including the 64-bit Concorde which I only bought to support them and get the MSFS version at reduced price, but I will never ever go back to P3D.

Sorry but I want to see that. Just imagine A NEO and A330 at the level of detail that FSLABS and I would like to know how many return to P3D.

But again. Different platforms. Do you compare XPLAN with DCS or P3D?
    one shouldn’t exclude the other

    that’s it

They probably will have a bit of success with the Concorde, but yes agreed hope for their sake they are prioritizing the A330 and whatever non-A32x aircraft in their catalog for MSFS.

Hope to see something else for P3D as they initially promised NEO and A330.

im pretty sure to me honest, if they go initially for NEO and A330 for P3D with such level of detail, then will be a huge rollback from MSFS to P3D users.

    My $0.02.

IMHO, comparing the FSL to the Fenix (or, P3D to MSFS for that matter) is like arguing Rocky Marciano vs Cassius Clay. Hint: they never competed against one another.

For those who were familiar with the FSL in P3D...that was an aircraft under a long development curve...and brought a lot of "firsts" to P3D. It still stands up very well in that platform.

Fenix has also been under a long development curve (albeit, shorter than FSL...mainly due to the release timeframe of MSFS)...with a developer that seems intent to continue to improve their product. The features of their recently released Block II trailer looks very promising.

I, for one, can accept that both are high quality simulators in their own platforms. Any comparison, is moot.

    Thanks

    Thank you so much

That's exactly what I'm trying to explain.
    They are different platforms. End

Where has it been said that one replaces the other?

MSFS has the best default GA avionics now. MSFS has the best default G1000, G3000, G5000, GNS 530, GNS 430, and G3X.

For the G1000, G3000, G5000, and G3X, you can't even buy a better one with payware because none exist that are better than the ones in MSFS.  P3D default GA avionics are not nearly as good as MSFS default GA avionics.

Good. Enjoy flying visuals with a Cessna. Not for me

  10. Honestly, I believe they are two completely different platforms as of today.

Using MSFS doesn't necessarily mean leaving P3D.

I turn to P3D when I look realism in my flights.

I think MSFS is still primarily a visual simulator today. Fslabs provides the option of using 2D panels, which I find very helpful and usable.

In summary, using MSFS doesn't mean to exclude using P3D, just like XPLANE or other simulators.

It's unfortunate that many developers are leaving P3D. I hope FSLABS doesn't follo. While the FenixA320 is good, it still far behind FSLABS.

  11. Thanks¡

ok I’ve fixed. Don’t know why, but my i76800k was only recognising 6 cores. I restarted the pc and entered the BIOS, Hyperthreading was ENABLE.

Then I re-enabled again and then my pc recognised all 12 logical processors instead of 6.

I don’t know why, but it looks like the cpu disabled the Hyperthreading, even with Hyperthreading enable in the BIOS.

strange, but now it seems to be working.

    thanks

Does anyone knows of any addon to create realistic wing effect during turbulence? maybe that depens in the model and its not possible to change...

I was looking to the following video (minute 5:20) and maybe anyone knows how add or create realistc effect.

    Thanks
