    Hey Jose': I hope you're keeping safe and well: I don't want to hear of you cut down by this insidious plague.

    Just spotted your post: You can add/tie your new email to the old one that is/was used by MS. I have two newer email addys that will work, They are both tied back to my old "pj_3@sympatico.ca" account, which hasn't been used for 10 years or so. MS has an insane way of knowing you by the first email you ever used, and it creates havoc for many people. I've done this a couple of times, and can still log in to all MS accounts - like "OneDrive", Windows 10, or the XBox thingy for the sim.

    Where have I been?  Just watching the ugliness of the mfs 2020 and P3D v5.1 alternative evolve. Testing parts of each now and then. Going thro' all the aggro that you and thousands of others are experiencing. It has fully taken the shine off both flight sims for me - now visiting/using one or the other sim maybe once a week.

      This is strange, Jose': I kicked and cursed when "it" happened - both with OneDrive and with Windows 10 Update and other problems - especially running the dos-based "sfc /scannow" and "DISM" Windows 10 filesystem tools, but all were fixed each time by changes to the email addys in the account at the time they happened. I use "Password Agent" to keep track of them, and the entries are l-o-o-o-o-ng and windey.
      Here's my entries (without pw) for MSFS::-

      "To log in the the XBOX thing when starting the msfs 2020 - pj_3@sympatico.ca pw is XXXXXXXXXX"
      "Logging into the OneDrive web page:- paulj_3@protonmail.com  & XXXXXXXXXX"
      "XXXXX9nuvXX worked on Sept 8, 2019.The sympatico acct still exists."
      "Logging into OneDrive. . .
      On Dec 6, 2020:- Microsoft account
      Your password changed
      Your password for the Microsoft account pj*****@sympatico.ca was changed on 12/6/2020 4:23 PM (GMT).  XXXXXXXXXX

      If this was you, then you can safely ignore this email.
      Security info used: pj_3@rogers.com"   <----   This is one of the two email accounts that I have atm, and both are "known" on the original pj_3@sympatico account.
      But each time I ran into the problem - it was fixed at that time by the "Change password" interface.
