  1. I've used the Civa gauge for a while now in other panels, and once you get the hang of it, it works very well indeed. As Bob says, stick with it. Just out of interest, there seems to be a component missing in the TM panel - the switch that links the Civa gauge to the heading bug (unless I'm completely missing it!).Here's the line I put into the panel.cfg to correct this:gauge63=../Civa/Ins!NavModeSingle, 678, 560, 30, 40;)
  2. Thanks for the help, all. Think I've got it now.;)
  3. Thanks for the reply, Raphael. I have read the Sperry manual, and I do understand that the FD and autopilot are separate - but I still can't figure out how to raise or lower the pitch without resorting to the 737-400 pitch wheel gauge. Can anyone help?;)
  4. It's taking some time to get used to the 732 panel (but well worth the effort!) although I have a question. I read David Vega's document on the autopilot and flight director, and it finally twigged how you should climb and descend. However to get the 732 to pitch up or down, I've had to add a default FS gauge to the panel (the 737-400 pitch wheel) to get the plane to pitch (as I can't find one in the panel), after which I can hold the pitch with the elevator control and the CWS system. Does the flight director pitch cmd control affect the pitch, or if not, is there a pitch control that I'm missing? It seems such a major piece of kit that I'm sure it should be there somewhere. Thanks!;)
  5. Thanks, janosch! Exactly what I was looking for!;)
  6. All,Using the recent TinMouse 732 (fantastic job!) but confused by the number of active systems in the panel. Is there a startup checklist that anyone can direct me to? Also, how do you get the plane to climb without using the joystick? I can't seem to get the nose pitch up to climb using the autopilot. Thanks for your help.;)
  7. This can happen if the plane's moments of inertia are not set right. Try increasing the values in the aircraft.cfg, making sure you back up the original first.;)
  8. Do you mean the selection screen is blank, or the whole thing crashes? If it's a black selection screen then it's possible that the 'sim' entry line in the aircraft.cfg file doesn't match the .air file name.
