  1. Sure, I'll take a stroll over to your forum. You all might have the creative tools we need to make an aircraft like this get off the ground.
  2. Hey guys,My real name is Shane Olguin, and I'm a payware developer for FSX. I do flight models and configurations. I would really like to assemble a team of payware developers and come out with a killer L-1011 for FSX. I'm talking flight model, 2D panel, VC, gauge coding, you name it. I want this to be a high-quality release. I am capable of high fidelity flight models up to the very limit of the FS engine, but I have no experience with sounds, panels, 3D design, or gauge coding. I'm sending this feeler out here to see who's interested. Reply, PM, or email me with your resume and let's see if we can assemble a team of hungry developers who want to make an awesome product and perhaps a few dollars.
  3. This is going to be one of the major factors in me purchasing this upgrade. ASE wreaks havoc with my PMDG MD-11 receiving strange weather readings which in turn cause it to go into strange S-turns.Has this been fixed in AS2012? If so, where do I buy?EDIT: Meant PMDG, sorry.
  4. C:\Program Files\HiFi\ASA\Images\WindArrowSliver.pngI get this when trying to start up ASE. Pressing continue does nothing, it does not progress past this stage. Note, I just installed ASE Update B642 and this is still occuring. Here is a copy of the debugger log:See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.************** Exception Text 5. I have never once heard the stabilizer motion annunciation in the PMDG MD-11. I should be hearing this when the stabilizer is in motion in excess of 1° at a time. Is this a glitch or am I not understanding something?-Shane O
  6. I am having serious show-stopping problems with my MD-11.When I am flying an ILS approach with the autopilot engaged, it causes first my computer to lock-up the sim, in which case I start to get the Windows Vista swirling circle right in the center of the screen, as if the computer is "thinking." Then the sim crashes. This happens each and every time I am flying an autopilot approach, and it always occurs between 500-1500ft AGL. I must find a fix to this issue. It happens at every airport.-Shane O.
  7. Are you looking for a PS/2 male/male cable then? I don't understand what you mean by "lead."
  8. Hello guys,I am having trouble with my X52 Pro PS/2 port on the throttle side. There appears to be something wrong with it internally because unless I hold the cable at a certain angle and apply a certain amount of force, the computer does not recognize signals from the stick end. It will light up the LEDs on the stick, but will not read any button presses or axis movements. I have already replaced the cable but that has not solved the problem.I took the base of the throttle off to check the printed circuit board attached to the PS/2 port on the throttle. All the wires *appear* to be securely soldered and don't appear to be touching one another. At this point I am going to say there is a loose pin inside the actual PS/2 port or something, and I doubt I can fix that. What I would like to know if someone has a junked X52Pro that they can cannibalize the PS/2 port from and sell it to me? If not, does anyone know where I can get one of these?Right now the stick is somewhat usable.... if I spend time minutes finding the right angle and propping up the cable against something to hold it in that position it will work, but if it moves all I lose the stick. This could be a potential show-stopper if I'm in the middle of a stall fight or something! Thanks!

  10. I have had this happen on 4 of 5 attempts to fly. During an ILS approach (either DUAL LAND autoland or manual flying) the MD-11 is locking up FSX. When it locks up I then see the mouse pointer busy/working symbol on the center of the screen and the only way to proceed is to close FS via the task manager. Of course this is a legitimately purchased copy from the PMDG website. The lockup occurs during short final, usually under 1500ft AGL and a bit after I get the green box on the EAD. I am running FSX in Windows Vista 32bit, with 4GIG of memory and 4GHz CPU. Also have an NVIDIA GTX280 video card. It is very disturbing to fly for hours only to lock up on the most interesting phase of flight. Please help!Following airports have experienced the lockup:KONT 26LKSDF 35R/35LKCLTKDFW 36LThank you,Shane Olguin
  11. What is the short-term solution that us users can do to avoid this problem pending a permanent fix, Lek?
  12. Last week I suffered a serious computer problem that prompted me to format the hard drive with my ASA installed on it. I would like to reinstall ASA but I do not have the download anymore. I still have my product key handle. Where can I download ASA to reinstall without having to pay again?Fritz
  13. Jim Vile's was the one I was looking to download from this site. I sure I could find that guy. That thing looks great.
