Saved a panel state ( which indicated it WAS saved). Tried to bring it up later and it wasn't in the saved selections.Is there a particular format??

PMDG737NG After programming FMC ( I hope correctly) V speed do not indicate onTakeoff Ref pg. This will preclude VNAV & LNAV operation. Am I doing somethinmg wrong>

Thanks for the advice: I used your first reference with sucess. It appears that ALL FSX files were removed. Then along with the suggested procedures I installed FSX Delux Edition discs (2) that came with the Gold Edition of FSX. ( 3 disc set) I checked with my Win 7 "Program and Features" I wanted to assure that FSX WAS installed. .I noticed that MSFSX:Acceleration was installed. I didn't use the 3rd disc to install it. I hestitate to go any further . Any advice??? Thanks in advance

Excuse for lack of computer knowledge, but.... How can I uninstall FSX completely?? I have my original FSX disks. Can I merely go to Win 7 add/remove programs and uninstall FSX? Or.... does ALL the associated files have to be removed.

After what seems to be a successfull install I am prompted to enter Activation Code .No matter what form ( uppercase, with/without - ,ect) I enter the Product Key taped inside the box.I get an Err:FixActCommenRepairLocalTrustedStorage -(500044,71013.1) with an OK box. I am not that computer savy to proceed. Any Help?? Thanks

Revisiting an older question:: After reinstallinf FSX ( 2hr 17min) Continued with a Free Flight selection, after changing aircraft to a PMDG NGX I noticed the aircraft displayed was only partially built. Continuing anyway, the glare sheild never did activate the codition of instruments nor did the external view This has all happened after my PC has been to the PC Doctor for cleaning. Thanks for ant comments I am anticipating reloading FSX Acel but am hesitating for this correction

Recently had my CPU "cleaned up".Afterward FSX would not open so I removed FSX and FSX Accelerator. After reinstalling I get directions to enter the Product Activation code. Doing so it is not recogonized. An y thoughts?? Thanks George KPHX

Would you believe I can't find FSX.cfg ? My FSX folder has two files, FMCWP & PMDG and neither contains a cfg file. I've searched high and low. Glad the problem doesn't exist ALL the time. Just eratating. Thanks though

Oliver, Thanks, No I haven't. This situation only happens ocassionally, enough to make me think that something wasn't set correctly. Its mostly iritating when time is spent loading up everything ( FMC, etc) then upon taxing one sees a cigar. Maybe I should look outside first?? thnaks again

My Zoom (in and out) control is out of wack!. I have to much IN and not enough OUT. Outside spot aircraft looks like a cigar. I have cycled the + and - keys in either direction. I have looked in the "option" Controls but can't seem to find a fix. Any help please?

Kyle, I didn't mean to confuse you ( I'm confused enough) . Your explaination about UAC etc is the best I've seen yet. Thank you again. I think I have narrowed my situation down to the fact that prior to FSX AND NGX I have been used to FS9. I got quite used to all its features. Actually when FSX came out I really didn't like it and continued with FS9. When FSX/NGX appeared I really tried getting into it because of all the features that NGX has. MY problem is that I was getting FS9 and FSX/NGX confused thinking that where one feature worked in one would work with the other. NOW I realize that I have to pay attention to the program I am using. Thanks again to ALL that responded for your help

How do I find saved CO Routes , I thought at one time there was a selection in the FMC.

Kyle, Thanks MUCH for your explanation. Took me to where I've never been before. Still doesn't solve the issue though .......I can get panel states that have been saved to open and show up on Rte/Legs page however I still can't seem to SAVE a flt.

2nd try!! After loading flight info into FMC and setting up panel I triead to Save the panel state, it indicates it is loading however it doesn'e appear. Any suggestions??

After loading FMC for a Flight Planner loaded flight, I have gone to the FMC and selected Setup and entered in a name ( KPHXKLAS) to save its panel state. It NEVER shows up afterward in attempting to reload it. What am I doing wrong???

I have tried several times to save a panel state with no sucess. I have loaded my FMC using a flt Plan with Flight Planner, was sent to the correct airport and loaded my FMC. Than I want to FMC Setup and supposedly saved the panel state with a titled name. At times the page indicated it was loading, at other timed not. When I tried opening a loaded panel state the title has never showup. Any suggestions???/ Thanks
