Dear fellow X-Plane simmers!!!
For the past time, I have hosted this file to the community for free. Due to traffic generated bandwidth and file size, I have come to the decision
based upon some recent restrictions from my domain provider, that this project need to close down!
I am still working on a more suited fix/solution, but I am In need of two things to get this working
1. A professional PHP/SQL coder
2. A donation based community support in order to host files (i.e. a VPS solution)
So without any of those this file is now closed and will not be shared anymore!
Thank you for all the support, all your kind feedback and every single 38,573 downloads from version 1.0 to 3.5.
I would love to personally thank all library developer for allowing their library to be included in this installer, continue to do excellent work.
You guys are truly unique and I love you all for this.
Again, thank you everybody and I'll catch you in the sky.

Glad you enjoyed it and I am pretty sure Tony also is happy :)

We finally released it. Here is an excellent new airport mostly done by Tony Wroblewski aka antwob (Previous released ENHA and ENSD)
He did most the work, I added some images and custom buildings to the mix. Turned out good to be a freeware.
Enjoy

Hi again, we all struggle with memory loss, believe me.. Did a short test and I too could not find any numbers. They are however present in the airport config windows and on the runway texture.
So bug perhaps
-
Is it a question about how good you're memory is sir? If it is a bug in PB9 or if you are not sure if it is, it's alsways better to file a bugreport

Revision One Up - Bugfix: Fixed the Thumbnail issue on install

This is for those that already have the library installer already installed and only want to update their existing library.Get the updater herettp://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/35105-x-plane-library-update-file/Get the lastest X-Plane Library Installer here

It should owerwrite any previous version, but in anycase I would recommend a clean update
You can use only the update file once you have the base installer installed. It includes 36 libraries and cover almost all the known libraries.

Could you please right click on the Unknown device entry in device manager, select Update driver. You'll need to choose 'Let me pick...' and then choose the first device - Generic USB Device or similar - NOT the Yoke one.
Once that entry becomes "Generic USB Device or similar" you can start the Madcatz yoke driver install.
worked for me, thanks

That is of course true. But Ventura Sky doesn't allow the NOAA plug-in to mess with clouds, as stated in the technical details above. Clouds get injected independently by SMP + RWC, based on their own interpretation of the (seperately downloaded) METAR file. We only read visibility, temperature, pressure and winds from the NOAA plug-in.
As far as my testing goes, performance of Ventura Sky equipped X-Plane is the best you can get in terms of real weather. But it lies in the nature of real weather that you may come across formations that are too heavy for your system / settings.
Well lets see how it goes, if the performance hit is on the downside, this would be a valued package.
-
Tom, Why do always sit on the fence about stuff ?
Sit on the fence? Dont get that..
FSGRW is not required or supported by Ventura Sky. The NOAA plug-in itself has no impact on frames whatsoever, don't know what you're seeing there. And don't get excited, it has nothing from RTH in it, it uses a different approach.
Then I am interigued for sure, going to dive into the code and see when it comes. I beg to differ on the NOAA frame issue, if not fixed in 2.2.2 there are frames issue and it was addressed the developer some time ago. I will try it again to check, but in any case where you double on cloud layers there bound to be more of a performance hit in game, thats basic logic. Lets just hope I am wrong..
-
Could be interesting. But FSGRW and NOAA I will never use, especially the last one that is a frame killer delux on my machine.
Real connector is also something I could not care less about and skycolors I have my own.
So basically it will be int. to see what the code is about and check to see if it is not any reproduction of my code within RTH

Tom, have you though about updating the installer to use something similar to rsync (e.g. https://github.com/perlundq/yajsync). If you have all the libraries in one place on a server, then the installer can just download/update the files it needs. Whenever somebody updates their library, the installer will just download the changes rather than needing to redownload a huge file.
Yes, problem is the githubs file size restrictions. Second you need to make every library developer upload to this server or any other server. Which means more permission. Most library installer do not want to have their library hosted anywhere other than x-plane.org, and that would make it difficult. Even worse, most library do not update them self, there is even library now dated back to 2012. So in an sense, the small issue of tracking each library is no problem at all. And lets face it, a 2GB file size is half a DVD to download and even with a 3Mbit subscriber line it does not take forever.. I try to update ever month and a shorter update frame than that will only be annoying for most end users.
Well then why does it not work in my brand new win 10 install? Downloaded the latest Java twice and installed and with any program that requires it a window pops up and then is gone.
Do not know, it works on every computer there is.. Try downloading JRE or JDK from a different source and check your security settings, ie. smart filter etc..

Light2015 v2.0 is out
This is a .lua script for tweaking lights in X-Plane 10
It only works with the "Fly With Lua" script that can be downloaded here http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=17468
Tested with 10.32
Not tested with Real Terra Haze
<<< This will not work in X-Plane 9 >>>>

I cannot get in eighter.
This test even show its me, but why would it.. Must be regional purhaps?
Just checked with http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/prepar3d.com and it reports it's plain down for everyone.
same
It's not just you! http://prepar3d.com looks down from here.

Does this apply for the water/light tweak files as well or just the art?
Think it's just atmospheric scattering, but 10.30 is performanced fixed, so messing with art control may reduce overall performance. It is of course just a theory still, as of 10.30 beta 6
I have the light working, just have to amend the code to suit it far better. Waiting for 10.30 final to get to work!
-
On standby for the release of 10.30, you should not need art tweaking in 10.30, keeping the art script is redundant in beta version.
-
I have not had the time to look at it yet, but if it works without the scripts, nothing is better right.
So feel it a bit and decide what you think is the best solution for you and your flying experience.
