ckyliu's post in Diffrence between N1 and N2 was marked as the answerN1 is low pressure shaft rpm (in simple terms, how fast the big fan at the front is spinning)
N2 is high pressure shaft rpm (how fast the core of the engine is spinning)
N1 is generally used as a power reference (much like RPM in a car or manifold pressure in a piston-engine aircraft) because it roughly describes how much of the available thrust/power you're using. N2 is used for some specific things, such as when to introduce fuel during engine start.
The PMDG NGX is a very complicated addon, I would strongly suggest you complete the included tutorials (the Boeing supplied documentation can be rather impenetrable to a lay person) or search on YouTube for a video tutorial.

ckyliu's post in A couple quick questions regarding the panels.. was marked as the answerIIRC, to remove elevator pressure warning you just have to move the elevator through its full range of travel.
Panel state is saved when you save the flight in FSX. It is loaded when you load a saved flight in FSX. This is currently the only way to save and load panel states with the Majestic Q400.

ckyliu's post in J4100 - no info on EADI and EHSI was marked as the answerSounds like missing fonts, are the engine displays blank too? Reinstall the J41 with administrator rights or copy the contents of the FSX fonts folder to fonts in the control panel.

ckyliu's post in J41 Paint Help .. Can't kill the shine! was marked as the answerHave you checked the alpha layer on the spec.dds files? It should be generally dark.
I would recommend you open an existing J41 repaints' textures and compare yours to see if you can spot any obvious differences. DXTbmp is good for this, I find it more user friendly than the nVidia Photoshop plugin, you can set it as the default program to open .dds files.
