  1. Hm, doesn't work, even with NumLock toggling. Started Win10_64 Pro without any unnecessary services or additional software in Autostart. So P3D can really start clean.
  2. Downloaded (SimMarket/SimFlight) and installed WAMA. Fired up P3D v4 and next WAMA. I saw the new menu entry inside "Add-ons" menu. In the WAMA menu there are already set "Switch time machine" and "Movement control" both set to ON in the menu, so nothing to click here. I wanted to move now the parked aircraft on ground into a slightly different position using the appropriate keys like: Shift + Ctrl + NumPad 4 = Move left Shift + Ctrl + NumPad 6 = Move right Shift + Ctrl + NumPad 8 = Move forward Shift + Ctrl + NumPad 2 = Move back Shift + Ctrl + NumPad 7 = Rotate left Shift + Ctrl + NumPad 9 = Rotate right Nothing happened. Then I did it the old way using slew mode in P3D. That works fine, even without jumping a bit up/down like befor WAMA installation. Do I have to use it this way or am I doing something wrong? In the manual there was in paragraph 3.12 (Moving your aircraft) nothing to read about entering slew mode before using this feature. The keys aren't double assigned in P3D nor in Chaseplane or FSUIPC. Thanks for your appreciated help in advance! Some facts of interest: P3D Version: 4.5.13.32097 SimConnect Version: 4.5.0.0 WAMA Version: 1.19 b06 Chaseplane (autoupdated to the latest version: 1.2.54) SODE 1.7.1 AI Carriers v 1.0.0.0
  3. Thank you for the reply. I've already read the red text warning at your site, but nevertheless got confused and tentative to install it. Also due to lack of a file checksum/hashcode for this particular file. This fact is - as I can imagine - for a developer like you, who presents such wonderful pieces of art for all of us rather frustrating, Sorry for that, but many thousand thanks for all your more than useful contributions !
  4. I'm rather sure that many bushflyers were waiting long for a little program/tool like this one. BTW at Lorby's website there are a lot of 'must have tools' you may have been waiting for. So I ask myself, why is there no response here? I've noticed that some downloadable files have integrity hascodes to compare with past download, some not. Why? McAfee reports the downloaded file named "LorbyMooring_Install_P3D_V4.exe" as malicious. Is this eventually a positive false? Hopefully can bring up some light into this. I'd like to install it, so I wnat to know if some others also have installed it without resulting troubles? Thanks in advance for your replies!
  5. You are right for standard planes, but this doesn't fit for a floatplane. And the distances until it starts turning left/right and curve radius can't be set by the user, but there are also other 'gauges' available.
  6. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// /// HOW TO PUSH or PULL YOUR AIRCRAFT SMOOTHLY ON GROUND /// /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// When you want to push/pull your vehicle on ground/water the last few yards to it's final position (parking spot, hangar, dock etc.) you need to slew it around. The following actions will reward you to perform such movements some more realistic to perform. So lets start to do this. Read all text until end of document, so you can't miss anything important! o First of all you need P3D (in my case v 5.5 hf2) and a registered version of FSUIPC (in my case v5.153 registered version). Remark: I guess it will work in FSX too. But I think a version number 5 but subnumber smaller than .153 will also do. o Select tab |Key Presses| and press [Set]. o Now press [Y] key to set the wanted keystroke. You may also set another key than [Y], it's your choice. But be sure it does not interfere with a key already set within P3D. I just redefined the [Y] key which was already set by default by P3D. o Under "Control sent when main key released" select: 'Slew Toggle' o Under the second listed "Control sent when main key released" select: 'Slew Freeze' o Next set a checkmark beside "No repeats!". o And finally confirm all input data by pressing [OK]. Now we've bound the [Y] key to 'Slew Toggle' for the moment pressing the key down *AND* to 'Slew Freeze' on release of the pressed [y] key. The next keypress we will define is for toggling mouse/yoke. In mouse mode you will see the mouse pointer as usual but when in yoke mode the icon will change to a nearly transparent crosshair. So let's go on to set a similar key for that. o Select tab |Key Presses| and press [Set] again. o Now press simultaneously [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[Y] key to set the wanted keystroke. You may also set another key than [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[Y], it's your choice. But be sure it does not interfere with a key(combination) already set. Else use other unset/free keys. o Under the second listed "Control sent when main key released" select: 'Mouse As Yoke Toggle'. o Next set a checkmark beside "No repeats!". o And finally confirm all input data by pressing [OK]. Don't change anything else on this FSUIPC-screen! So now try it out with any plane you want. I especially enjoy it with Milviz's DHC-2 Beaver float or their straight floats version (inside the expansion pack) as well as using Aeroproyecto's Cessna C172N (flotaplane) versions since you can now enjoy rather realistic movements of the seaplane on water surface and at the seaplane docks. You need just some practice to move the crosshair/aircraft in a convenient manner so it moves slowly by practicing moving your mouse slowly in subtile portions of movements. Now you are able to move e.g.: forward and right together by moving the crosshair upwards/forward and to the right side. Just practice this procedure and you get rewarded by an enhanced/realistic aircraft movement on ground/water. To accomplish especially a very slowly ground movement also follow these steps: Have a look into P3D's OPTIONS/CONTROLS/CALIBRATION. o Under 'Controller' select 'Mouse Yoke' o Under Flight mode select 'Slew' o Set 'Slew (rotate axis) SENSITIVITY to a value of 16 o Set 'Slew (rotate axis) NULL ZONE to a value of 64 o Set 'Slew (forward/backward axis) SENSITIVITY to a value of 1 o Set 'Slew (forward/backward axis) NULL ZONE to a value of 32 These values work very, very well at least for me. Just fiddle around with them. And best of all: while you move your aircraft from the outside spot view you can also change the view direction simultaneously if you haven't reset the appropriate outside keys. In my case these are [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] on the keypad, NUM-LOCK must be set active/on for this. I assume above described procedures will also work with FSX and all P3D versions, but this is *not* approved! All the movements perform now nicely and some more realistic in 'spot view'. No unwanted automatic extra jumps or fast slews/drifts around! Enjoy your enhancements! _______ Josef
  7. All 'David Roch' mentioned about the C172N floatplane from AEROPROYECTO in this thread I can fully agree! The aircraft model is super fine and a real joy to fly. The one thing I want to mention in particular is: This floatplane can really very, very realistic be moved in water towards and off the docks as well as come onto the so called 'step' on the takeoff run as well as the settlement on it's roll out. Congrats Aeroproyecto! Well done, All different C172N series. I have a huge amount of different Cessna's (most of the payware for P3D4), but this one is by far the best (and - believe it or not - also extremely cheap). It works also very well in P3D4 (even v4.5 hotfix 2). Joe
  8. What does IQ settings mean and where can I find this setting? Joe
  9. Yes I have set all NCP-settings according otrebIAs suggestions. But I also didn't change any values within P3D at this moment, so I can confirm better results. At the moment I'm using P3D4.5 with hotfix also installed. But I think there's no big difference in this respect when using still P3D4.4 . _______ Josef
  10. Thanks for your excellent expert-hints !!! Very appreciated! 🙂 🙂 I rechecked the 24bit saved bmp file and noticed one single pixel was not 0,0,0. I just corrected that, will see later. The airplane I want to apply the clickspot to is Carenado's C172II N Floatplane. It has no clickspot on the right door, only on the left door. I'm using ChasePlane and need the keys 0 to 9 for my views. So I get into a conflict when using [SHIFT]+[E]+2. So I can try to place the clickspot as narrow as possible... [Vcockpit01] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=512,512 visible=0 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$Panel_172_1 .... gauge09=CustomToggle!OpenDoor2, 400,0,050,050
  11. OK all this works! 🙂 Now I have a black clickspot in the VC, size 50 x 50 for the moment. I have inserted the line gauge09=CustomToggle!OpenDoor2, 500,0,050,050 in the section [Vcockpit01]. Two things still remain: 1. How can I make the black clickspot invisible in the final version? 2. How can I put the (still) black square in the vicinity of the right door handle inside the VC or can I only put the clickspot in the forward/straight ahead view?
  12. Many thanks again, Bert! I hope I understood all correct. I created a BMP file - consisting of 5 x 5 pixels and black colour - and named it blank.bmp. I also created an XML file called OpenDoor2.xml including your text paragraphs and put it together with the blank.bmp file into the panel folder of the wanted aircraft. Is this all accomplished correctly? And finally I'll have to edit the panel.cfg ...
  13. Did you also apply a cold start to your PC? If you have a notebook or tablet by hand you could try on that devices ...
