Seems l remembered half of the story ......... but one of these days l must tidy my files and folders with FSX addons and things Yes it's aicarriers2 that adds AI ships (and carriers) handling in Addons Menu . Still have it though ... landing(!) and take off from moving carriers Thank you a lot for making my day .

l had the Acceleration installed , sometime back , and l remember that the options for starting/placing a carrier were from the Addons menu . With regards dll.xml file , it's rather hard or impossible to add acceleration be cause you have to have the path of whatever one wants to add , and there no such thing for Acceleration. Dead end ? or it's a matter of installing sequence ?

Thanks . Yes FSUIPC was installed before . Do l have to re-install ? l deleted FSUIPC from the FSX modules folder and re-installed BUT l see no changes . Nothing in the Addons Menu , except FSUIPC and Instant scenery . What now pls ?

l have installed fsx acceleration over fsx , and installation completed succesfully . Both FSX and Accel were activated normally without any problem . If l remember correctly when l had the Accel installed a couple of years back , there was a set of options in the manu/Addon . Now there is NOTHING refering to Acceleration . What am l missing ? Thank you Jim ,Problem solved . Can you imagine it was the decimal character .Although l have Windows in English l keep forgeting that the Region entry dictates it's format and (Greece) will give you a (,) instead of (.)Allis well now , thanks again for your help .

There is no option "PreserveGUIDOnExport" in Exporter settings . Am l using an outdated or bugged MCX ? Which one do you use and where can l download it from .Strange thing is that it will export all other 4 formats .X , .FLT , .3DS , .OBJ

Have been trying Jim but the problem is that MCX will not export/save the .mdl file .l even imported a single object .bgl file with same results . No export (even downloaded a fresh copy of MCX) . Dead end .

One more thing Jim if l may ask .l imported a certain .bgl , got the objects report , chose the textures associated with the particular object l wanted .Made a folder , say myObjects , with scenery and texture subfolders , placed the textures associated in the texturefolder , and the .bgl selected in the scenery folder , placed myObjects in Addon Scenery and activated myObjectsin FSX , run Instant Scenery , clicked the .bgl in Library , and in Model are listed all the objects which of coursewere appearing as a black shape except my particular object which was fine ready for placement .Now my question is , how do l edit the list of objects , so only my selected object appears in Model of IS

Hi all , Have been away from FSX for sometime and would appreciate it if someone could remind me how l used to do it .l have several object libraries and what l want to do is the following . Select a .bgl out of the noumerous bgls of the librarythat l don't use , and find which textures the selected bgl is using .If l am not mistaken l used to use LibraryCreatorX , but when l try it now and import a .bgl , it will not show theobjects in the preview window .Thanks for feeback

l have installed FSX De Lux in my computer running Windows 7 and it works fine ( l think) .However since l am new with FSX l am kind of lost with basic things line .1. How do l minimize the FSX window .2. What about the tools used with FS9 , like AFCAD , Flattex , Ez_scenery and the like . Hi all ,l am running fs9 under Vista(presently) , and trying to include a free vertical take off in my aircraft , but so far whichever vertical take off aircraft l have downloaded andinstalled , once l select it , the program collapses trying to load "objects" and restarts without running the selected aircraft .Can someone help pls .Thanks in advance
