  1. Hi MarkThanks for your replysorry I haven't replied sooner but we were away for a long weekend.Oh the joy of being retired. Brousing my mags I found a possible answerAll the CFG's are in a directory which I could print out, so i'm going to look intothat. I sent you this reply on Monday but It seems to have disapeared into the wild blue yonderRegards HDPS not sure about cmd or bat files
  2. Hi everybodyIn Settings I have saved 17 different arrangements of Graphic- Aircraft-Scenery etc and saved them with a short discription and dateMy problemis, how can I tell which of the 17 variants is currently loaded, without having to physically check the settings or write them down and referenced to the titleregards HD
  3. Hi to everybodyMy problem suddenly appeared, in FSX ( + sp1). Generating a flight from a coastalairport, eg Bournmouth I get to the 'find route' and the map appears showing the green land and the blue sea, then the sea covers over the land, but all the airports and other data is still visble. This also happens if I start from an inland airport such as Leeds/Bradford. A blue sq surrounds the airport and then expands horizontally. If I carry on with the flighteg 'Fly Now' the flight loads OK but if I check the GPS screen or the Map page, its all blue.I thought at first it was an error im my added scenery (Horizon VFR vols 1 + 3 and alsoORBX Gold and Green ) but disabling them in Settings/ Scenery makes no difference. This error has also killed my frame rates from around 50 down to 3.Ive upgraded my Graphics card and also cleaned the registry, but no difference.Has anybody had this problem, and found an answer. Please dont say re-install,as I have all this scenery ,not to mention aircraft.Regards HD
  4. Hi Aviator 327Thanks for your reply,Ive been on my jollies the last few days, so have just got round to firing up my PC and reading thro all the accumaleted Emails. On reading your reply, I was very sceptical, but thinking back I do recall clicking Light Bloom.I did this after reading an artical in eithePC Pilot or Computor Pilot. However to the nitty gritty.Unclicking Light Bloom, solved the problem, and my rotating thumbnails on both planes are backThank you once again regards HD
  5. Hi, Gary and Kiki,Thanks for your replies,Ive checked the Texture files for both aircraft and a thumbnail in JPG form is present in each Texture file. Each can be opened without any problem and shows the aircraft as it used to be. Any further suggestions would be most welcomeRagards HD
  6. Hi everybody,Im having a little problem with FSX and viewing thumbnails.I open FSX and select "Free Flight". Click on "Change Aircraft" and allthe planes appear, including those I have added,1)Beechcraft 1900d.ERA2)Cessna Canival. 3)Deer Valley DC3.4)NA Navion. 5)Piper Cherokee. and 6)Waco UPF.Selecting any MSFX plane is OK, and a rotating thumbnail appears, and it also appears when the "Detail" button is pressed. But,since I moved a partition on the drive which has FSX (J),the thumbnails for 2 of the extra planes dont appear irrespective which button is pressed (Detail or OK).Selecting "Location- Weather-Time & Seasonis" ok and the selected plane(MSFX or added)and the flight loads up OK when the "Fly Now" buton is pressed.I have un-installed the Beechcraft and the Piper,( the problem), cleaned the registry and re installed but the problem still exists. Can anyone please offer me a solution and/or a reason for this Regards to all HD
