  1. I was using AS12 Beta just fine up until today. I noticed that the AS12 program released it's SP1 update. I loaded a flight and tried to start AS12. I recieved an error message that states - "A critical error occured: Application failed to load - Root element is missing" I thought that the new SP1 update might need to be downloaded and executed to fix this error. I download and installed the new SP1. Same result. I now can't run the program at all. The same error message occurs. What gives?
  2. Since you used the word 'trash' in some form or another five times in your thread it's pretty clear that you don't like Jeppesen SimCharts. The question was intended, I assume, for a user of the software. Not for someone who obviously doesn't care for the product, and certainly not for one who doesn't know whether or not the company plans on updating it. My response still stands.
  3. "The MSFSX will actually require the SIMCharts 4 software. As there is notcurrently an upgrade program, you may want toconsider how soon you will upgrade to the MSFSX software."This is the response I received from Jeppesen. As I plan on still using FS9 even after I receive my FSX copy then it won't matter as far as a conflict for me. It is interesting to note that so far there is no mention of a SimCharts 4 version in the works on the Jeppesen site on any other flight sim site as far I know.
