I somehow accidentally messed up my Vancouver International (default scenery) in FSX.There are no jetways (only at this airport) with all the settings on high, and all runway and taxiway signs are doubled.I removed the AFCAD that I had installed, but no change. Is there a way I could reset the airport to its original state, without reinstalling all of FSX?Thanks for any ideas.

I have a small problem I'm wondering if anyone can shine some light on - When I load a flight, any flight, using any aircraft, the parking brake is never set, and the throttles are at almost full thrust. Thus, the aircraft starts rolling forward right after it loads.Any way to fix this?Thanks in advance for any assistance.
  8. There's something maybe intentional that I'd appreciate clarified. When I select runways and STARS in the MCDU, the ILS approach is always discotinuited from the "deceleration" point, and then shows up as CF(Rwy#). I'm just wondering because on the Boeing planes, the ILS approach fixes are shown in a continuous line to the runway. - Also, when I seem to enter for example: J92/BABAN, into the "VIA/Go To" field, I will get a "AWY/WPT Mismatch". It doesn't seem to matter what airway-waypoint it is. But, if I enter the waypoints manually, it works.Just some frustrating matters...Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi, I have a few questions - 1) After the glideslope is captured, AP 1 and 2 are set, APP set, etc, and the plane is descending fine, it suddenly disactivates. 2) I'm told that during approach, I'm going to see green markers indicating when to extend the flaps. This is not so. I only see the green marker for UP. I have gone to APPR REF, and selected the flaps configuration.3) APU - After both engines are started, I turn off the APU. I get a whole bunch of RED warnings: Low pressure for fuel, yaw damper turns off, etc.Any ideas? Thanks. Todd Chan
  11. Hi, I wonder if anyone could shine some light on my questions =).1) For the PMDG 737NG, do other doors other than the main cabin one opens? And if so, what commands open them?2) How do I know when to retract the flaps on takeoff, and when to extend the flaps on landing? Related: when do I know when to decelerate, so I can get to a speed to extend the flaps?3) Can it be too early to press APP?Thanks.
  12. - Your flight is not long haul- In the config manager, the box where you select "Long Haul" or "Short Haul" does not matter. As long as you load the correct fuel amount, you're good.- I'm pretty sure long haul is 6+ hours

    If I didn't set it manually, the trim was actually at 0 (I'm going to guess that's bad). But yeah, without the trim, the nose didn't even lift off a little bit.I'm used to flying the Boeing models, and who knew that the two manufacturers would have such different avionics and controls.

    I see...But why isn't the trim listed on any checklist? I was following the 'official' PSS tutorial from their website, and it doesn't mention it anywhere.

    Wow, thanks Rob and Scoob for your detailed answers.- What's the reasoning behind loading default aircraft before loading the PSS?- I think the problem is the trim, as I think I'm doing everything else correct. Will the MCDU give me the trim amount?
