  1. Yes, It is exciting and having been a pure developer using MSFS for the last 10 years, this could be a new ball game with no carry forward [there have been c/f from FS98 even in FSX]. I have 2 points:1. MS Flight will inevitably invoke a developers licence for anything more than a basic repaint. This will include modelling, gauge building and scenery mods etc - even LGB models [sorry, Large Grey Boats]. It is for you to work out, but I would want a return on [say] a 500 pound general licence fee. I fear the demise of my forte, and the beauty of MSFS, the freeware downloads. Only my opinion, but MS did try the same system that it is rumoured that they will use for FSX but it crashed and burned, as it was the FSX free SDK rehashed. You will probably get very limited SDK use but if you want the full package, then pay up!!2. OK, you have never heard of me because I am a Chopper developer nut. If anyone has a connection to the MS Flight team then please, please to include a twin engined chopper with a collective [not a throttle]. I am happy to help if needed, just PM me for my addy. It is exciting when we can have/develop something new for MS - I am in favour, but poor!MOD, please remove if this is inappropriate, CeeGee
