Well before rampant speculation begins here's what I have to say about this:1. Obviously we'll still have the Maule whether it be a new model or not.2. I sure hope that's the autogen they keep, it look's like a fully 3D model rather than some intersecting textures and transparencies3. Landclass is still the way it's done and the water looks to be much the same as FSX4. Again autogen looks nice but also look at the horizon it doesn't look as 'sharp' as FS9 or FSX5. Wherever this region is in the pictures (Hawaii based on the last video) they got better data for shorelines and whatnot.6. Streams are no longer flat vector lines it looks like they'll be vector lines but have a water effect on them and from some other shots it looks like based on slope they'll have rapids and waterfalls. Also it looks like rock textures are no longer an aerial picture stretched over a cliff but they're side on textures that no longer look stretched.Anyways that's my analysis of it all.

@OP: Many thanks for posting these. Moonlight (the silverlight version for linux) is the buggiest mess you've ever seen, so I can't access the official site.

Water looks much different from FSX IMHO!

Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!

I like what I see!

Are those cloud shadows in #3?Looks like it.
Could be reefs...

I forgot exactly what FSX water looks like so I loaded it up and looked at the same area. Flight looks much MUCH better.

We already have a topic about these screenshots. :( Oh well....now we have two. Big%20Grin.gifFor those that want these shots bigger and don't have silverlight, here is a set I put together on Flickr.http://www.flickr.com/photos/55710335@N08/5285673995/in/set-72157625659937520/#/photos/55710335@N08/5285673995/in/set-72157625659937520/lightbox/If you click on the shots, you can view them in their original size (1280 pixels wide)

The dark patches in the third shot are indeed reefs, and the autogen is not full 3D but more detailed textures. Overall glad to see what they have done so far, look forward to more teasers!

Nice set of pictures, seems like things are getting better...John

I anticipate good things from Flight. I think it will be a huge leap above everything we have seen from Microsoft Flight Sim before, without any of my thousands of dollars of addon scenery and aircraft being able to be ported over. I hope the technology will just be too new, fresh and efficient for old FS programming, but will run well on the best of today's machines. The old Microsoft Flight Simulation programs are in the past, and what is past is past and I want to leave them behind too. This is a new start and a new direction which I hope to be able to wade into and participate and enjoy every step along the way. I await in eager anticipation for Flight to begin. Bring it on!Kind regards,

Flight looks very promising and could very well bring us all back on one sim. I hope some of those great FSX add-ons can be ported over but if not I'll be happy with a fresh start.

Yes a fresh start is what I am looking for as well.I am only too willing to re-invest in all new add ons if the new platform is a quantum leap over what we have now, which is pretty darn good IMO.
