  1. thanks for the detailed responses guys, I didn't had a lot of time to test at the time of posting but will definitely look into it more. I did have a couple of planes parked at the gates but were not ready for departure. The AI was a TFS A340 @FlavioSSA - Borisforero QuitoX looks amazing. thanks for the recommendation.
  2. I finished installing AeroGal AI Traffic on FSX and I thought I'd test it by playing as ATC at Quito. Not much traffic going on there at the time but I had an Iberia flight 6463 inbound so I thought I'd watch it on final. It was obvious at 8 nm out that it was way too high and eventually declared a missed approach, I sat there patiently while it came back around only to fail and went missed again. My question is - has anyone witnessed any AI traffic successfuly land at Quito?
  3. I found this thread via google search because I wanted to see some performance comparisons between other AMD 1090T users and it just turned into ho-hum debate about AMD vs Intel. :Talking Ear Off:
  4. hi there,i'm pretty much on the same boat as you, I moved houses and I haven't had time to get back into flighsim.I installed FSX last night and did a quick flight from Sydney to Melbourne, I sat there for a couple of minutes trying to work out the keys to Push back.I'm another SSD fan so count my vote. I bought an OCZ Vertex 2 120GB, can't wait for these to go down in price... they are FAST! I've never seen Adobe Premiere CS5 load so fast.I don't want to hijack your thread by posting my upgrade specs but will definitely keep an eye on it.
  5. you could not have said it better. I'm at my wits end with this game. I spent almost 3.5K in building a new machine partly because I was optimistic that I would see a gain in performance. I'll pull this game out in 3 years maybe I can run it @ 30 frames with everything turned up like fs2004 in 2007
