  1. OK I figured it out. I know you cant use the same engine style for 2 flights in a row without restarting FSX. Thats what made me think about what I was doing. I was choosing the PMDG 747F, then loading the flight. Thus it makes it trying to load 2 flights in a row with the same engines and they catch on fire and stuff. So make sure you have a default aircraft, like the King Air chosen and just load the flight and it will load the 747 and the panel states as it saved the panel states with the same name as you saved flight file.Works very well.Bob Artim
  2. After installing the update, I figured the load/save would now be working. It is sorta. When I load a saved flight, then the panel states, the tail logo light is stuck on and I lose engine exhausts. Instead of 4 trails, there is only one behind the tail.I can however continue the flight which I could not do before the update.Bob Artim
  3. I just want to report that I did not have the skew problem before the 2.10 upgrade. After the upgrade, I had the skew problem. Found the original thread where it said to go to Flight1 and grab their registry repair utility, and ran it and the problem went away. Now I can go fly the upgraded version, which by the way was doing just fine for me before except the Freighter crashing at the end of the flight. Thanks goes to PMDG for a wonderful aircraft and thanks goes to everyone who pinpointed the skewing problem.Bob Artim
  4. I have been married for 10 years to my little woman now and for 8 of them she hated the computor. I ended up buying a new one and the old one was still serviceable to I set it up for her. With in a few m onths of having her own system she became an Internet junky. SHe could not however understand how I could sit and fly planes and drive trains (MSTS).Then I got a CH Yoke. SHe would walk in and make noises like rrrrraaaaww. Pretending she had the yoke and was going in a swan dive. So I had her sit down. Put her in the King AIr and 2 hours later I had to make her give it up. Now she wants her own yoke and I have to buy another copy of FSX. I tried passing off FS9 on her but she knew the difference right away. Thats surprised me too!!!I run a virtual airline and we use FSHost to fly online. Nothing technical, just hook up, fly and BS with Teamspeak. Now she is BSing with all my online flying buddies.I created a monster...Bob Artimwww.vneair.com

Actually I dont beleive you need an FSX paintkit. The textures appear to be the same for both sims.Bob Artim

Use the FS9 paintkit, it works just fine. I repainted both of them allready. The paint kits are great stuff. With FSX you can share some of the textures. So what I did was download a pax and a freighter skin for FSX and install them, then made copies of those folders and renamed them to what my textures are called. The I use DXTBMP to load the DDS files and send them to Photoshop. Make you new textures and paste them into the DDS you sent in, merge the layers and save it back to DXTBMP to save back as a DDS.WHen done go in and add your plane to aircraft.cfg.Bob ArtimNorth Eastern Airlineswww.vneair.com
