  1. The FO will turn on the yaw damper, but your IRS must be in alignment.

     

    Also enter your position in the CDU first.

     

     

    Flaps 25 is rarely used.

     

    Good afternoon,

     

    I am not a real pilot but i try to folow all the procedurs like in real life concerning pmdg 737 ngx, the "Yaw Damper" (maybe i am wrong), only have to be conected after engines running and stable, if you conect before the light doesn't go off, for any reason my FO "fscrew" doesn't conect but on final flight after "clean" FO disconect YD...

     

    I dont have idea the way you fly, your answer is saying something not natural "The FO will turn on the yaw damper, but your IRS must be in alignment"

     

    They are many steps before YD, Power on, APU on, Pump on and alignment, position aircraft and so on.....YD is the last thing before Flaps.....

     

    "Flaps 25 is rarely used". if is that true Boeing dont have Flaps 25, and sometimes depend with some factors better land with 25 then 30.

     

    FScrew is very nice tool to simulator and very close to real thing, please aply flaps 25 next update.

    My question is if Fscrew pmdg 737 ngx button version have the comand to turn on "Yaw Damper" or not after engines runing. I have to do that manualy allways.

     

    After the fscrew update nothing change about that.

     

    Maybe Fscrew have a solution ?

  4. Hello PMDG Staff and all PMDG Family,

     

    I have al most all aircrafts from PMDG and for that reason i am part of the PMDG family, i dont know if is the right place to post this one if not sorry for that.

     

    Flight1 have the ATR-72-500 initialy build for FS9 and then update for FSX, many bugs with this aircraft runing FSX with W7 64bits and problems to with FS9, whoever is fantastic aircraft but....not build by PMDG :)

     

    I wondred if with the new ATR-72-600, where the cockpit is completely diferent and many things the PMDG like to think about develope this fantastic aircraft :)

     

    Anyway congratulations to PMDG for the excelent work and let us join the excelent aircrafts.

    In my case FO during pre-flight flow doesn't turn on YD, allways i have to turn myself.

     

    Bryan you think is a bad idea to includ "frequency and course" in "descent checklist" ?

    We're sticking pretty close to the Boeing procedures.

     

    Why do you want to move the Yaw damater to the Runway entry procedure?

     

    Approach checklist is pure Boeing... we won't be diverting from it.

    Far as i know the "Yaw Damper" is well simulated in NGX and need to be conected before takeoff and that's way i think need to be conected by "copilot" in this case fscrew.

     

    About "frequency and course" far as i know is to part of approche check list in real life.

    Long time since last time we talk, first congratulations for the fscrew NGX, excelent work.

     

    I wondred Bryan if the next update is posibel to include the "Yaw Damper" to "Runway entry procedure" or " Before takeoff checklist".

     

    Also is "Approach Checklist" for the people like me, memory is not the same now :) it whos nice to have the checklist with "ILS frequency" and "Course", or more simple "Frequency and Course", that because like you know we have to do that manualy with NGX and if you forghet you dont catch the ILS :)

  9. Hello Luis, I use programme called "smart defrag 2" its free and easy to use. There are pay ones like oo defrag but i have never seen any benafits myself over the free one. I also run win 7 64bit. Hope that helps and if u need any more help/advice just give me a shout! Regards
    Hi Chris,Thanks, i have the "smart defrag 2" to but i "found" another one "disktrix 3" and i think is faster but like you said all working the same way.I have all the AS since the first to fsx, xgraphics, but AS2012 is incredibel program is the "Gold Edition" from HiFi and if you join the best aircraft for sim the 737NGX pmdg, more nice navigation program like FSC9, nice scenerys, atc online and two monitors then you are happy.Congratulations to the "brains" they make posibel this AS2012. Not twice as such, once each time u import a plan, they will be based on current weather conditions for that route u fly so u import the flightplan, then say yes to install graphics and away u go, then on your next flight do the same for most accurate weather graphics dipiction, having said that, its your choice but thats what i like to do.

  11. Hi Luis,Please find the sticky post here about Wind Stuck Issues... there is an FSUIPC update which is highly recommended which solves many wind issues and we've also had positive indication of prevention of related s-turn issues.

  12. Hi everyone just got as2012 and all is good!! What I would like to know is what I would need for a reinstall. I have asa.and ase which was upgrade and as2012 which is an upgrade. I would like to remove asa and ase but if I have to reinstall as2012 will it look for ase? thanks and great product!! keith

Good evening,I am old customer from HiFi (i think i have all programs), great programs, yesterday night i download the AS2012 and i make two flights today, the only thingh is my aircraft PMDG 737-600 NGX goes to the right and left until some times "bank angle" and i have to disconect AP and try to control manualy and then back to AP, i have read this issue but i dont find the solution.I follow all instructions manual AS2012 refering to pharametres turbulence and that is the only problem, the rest is perfect.The ASEvolution never geave me this kind of problems like this one, any help apreciated to solve this.My version payware Fsuipc is 4.711, is posibel with last version to solve my problem ? I have look around PMDG Forum but i didn't find nothing to solve this.At this moment i am flying from ESMS to LEIB FL330 wind 45 Kts the aircraft doesn't stop to go to right and left.Hypnotized.gifregardsLuis SerpaPD: sorry about my english i hoppe you understand everthing


  14. Servers are maybe pretty loaded. Just leave it, it might speed up later. You install the 737NGX, install the latest hotfix, start FSX, allow all the modules to run, select the NGX, allow all the modules again, enter your activation into the window that pops up. You're done
    Hi again, Thanks for the information, is the first time i download product from PMDG with that speed, first waiting for the product and now waiting for the download, we go to call this one the "waitaircraft" :) PMDG have servers enough to download ?? is steel with 54.8 KB/s and 24% download, that is a torture :) What you mean about "your activation into the window that pops up", the registration/activation is not like MD11 or 747 ?? Can you please explain the steeps ? What i understud in your post is after open the aircraft with FSX then we have the activation there ??? Please some help with that apreciated. LS

  15. Hi, I just purchase the 737 and download is incredibel slow 55KB/s, is normal that ?? I have all antivirus, smartScreen and firewall desactived. Is anything i can do to ghett more speed ?? I have a cable conection with the most speed in market, at tis moment i only have download 10%. I have download the hotfix and that one whos ver fast. I would like ask few questions since i am hear, I have W7 64 bits but OS spanish. Do i have to install anything more then the base pack and the file: 737-8900_NGX2922_Hotfix ??? all the bestLS


  16. Check your FSX\Fonts folder and ensure that the files MD11DU.ttf and MD11FMS.ttf are present there. If they aren't, let me know in a PM w/ your email. That was my issue. Have no clue where they went.

Hi Mark,Many thanks for your help, after two hours imposibel to have nice textures SAS, i follow all your steeps, maybe my english not enough and make some confusion with your instrutions, i dont know :( What i did is simple convert the 4 files with the program DXTB you told me and that goes fine, after i created a temporal folder with that 4 converted files + Texture.cfg.That whos the first intent but nothing happen when i open the FSX no textures SAS there.The second intent join to that 4 files and the texture.cfg all the files.bmp to the folder, what i do is CUT that 4 filesolder i converted, and i open the FSX and the airplane textures very bad like this:http://i55.tinypic.com/2cp4v8z.jpgMark maybe with my 57 years many things like that are in my limitations, any way thanks for everthing, simpaty and friendship, maybe when you have time you may prepare a file where posibel to download SAS Textures.My english is not so good to understand well tecnical wordsall the best until next timeCheersLuis Serpa


  19. Hi Luis,Yep!, Sometimes those FS9 textures can be problematic in FSX. I remember having similar troubles but eventually I managed to pretty much sort those out. Let me look in Avsim and see if I can find the SAS FS9 paint. I can try and figure out how that can be fixed for FSX and let you know.Re the SAS for the 747-8i, let me add this request to my list in the 747-8 subforum. I'm not promising anything right now as I finishing up my -400 list and need to take a short break , but I will come back to the 747-8i/F list.Hope that helps.
