I have an impression that even the simple issue of Historical Weather “wasn't understood” by these gentlemen. “How does anyone want to use that?” I think was the question one of them said...

I think I already have almost everything I had in Prepar3D (the Majestic Dash Q400 is missing), in fact even better than what I had in P3D because this FSHud seems to be much better than Pro ATC-X I've used so far...

The best proof of this is the fact that I have finally decided to buy MSFS and the various add-ons I need to have a good experience (PMDG 737, Fenix A320, ATRs, FSHud....). Without ASFS and Historic Weather it wouldn't have been worth the time and effort for me to make the jump...

Where did you learn how to use this program? I bought it yesterday but apart from the very short and very summarized User Guide I couldn't find a real Manual or tutorial available on my computer. There's not much on YouTube...
PS: Forget it. In fact, the User Guide is perfectly fine!

This morning I had a lot of errors while installing some companies using AIG on MSFS. In the AIG forums there are some complaints about this...

What worries me about this program is that it hasn't been updated in over a year... I repeat what I asked earlier, is it another Ultimate Traffic?
I use AIG Traffic in Prepar3D but it's so annoying to install everything in MSFS too...
-
I swear I'm going to read all these pages, but first I'll ask: is FS Taffic worth it today?
Is this another Ultimate Traffic 2?
PS: I fly offline and with Historical Weather (thank you ASFS) so FSLTL shouldn't make much sense to me?

It's sad and awful because many people follow and take into account the opinions of these guys.
I can understand that for many ASFS doesn't make sense because they use VATSIM weather or think that MeteoBlue's "live" weather results are good enough, but... scam?

A question on a Twitch stream:
"So what's the verdict on active sky for msfs? Is it worth buying or is a scam as a lot of people are saying?"
Oh my God... a scam?!? why????

It's important to read the manual, in particular from page 12 onwards...

Here, on my computer, ASFS is working.

I'm taking the opposite route but I'm still going to have P3D 5.4 installed. I hope I don't regret it...

Exactly. No one is forced to use AS or even Historical Weather, but this is fundamental for me.
Btw, I've already bought MSFS, the 737 from PMDG, the 320 from Fenix and GSX Pro. I repeat, only because of AS and Historical Weather...

it's not bad at all...
Flying in the wrong weather because you don't have historical weather is "not bad at all...". Like me only being able to fly at night and only having night temperatures because the "simulator" doesn't offer (or don't allow/allow to show) more than that 😐
"it's not bad at all..." [facepalm]

Active Sky in MSFS? check! wonderful news for me! I only fly with Historical Weather, so...
Now I need a good offline ATC program like Pro ATC-X (yes, I know PATC-X is available but seems "abandonware").

5.4. This true simulator really works.
But I'm starting to think about giving a chance to "2024". We'll see how it develops...

Historical weather planned for MSFS 2024

I've never needed data older than 24 hours, but as always there are cases and cases... just these days, to test ASFS, someone wanted to test the Dubai storm...
