Good thread because I've just installed FSLTL and want to use it with FSHud to control traffic.

I think I already have almost everything I had in Prepar3D (the Majestic Dash Q400 is missing), in fact even better than what I had in P3D because this FSHud seems to be much better than Pro ATC-X I've used so far...

The very EXISTENCE of Active Sky for MSFS and the obvious fact many people WANT it to work is a big public announcement to Asobe and Microsoft that the weather system in their flagship sim is NOT 'as real as it gets'.

The best proof of this is the fact that I have finally decided to buy MSFS and the various add-ons I need to have a good experience (PMDG 737, Fenix A320, ATRs, FSHud....). Without ASFS and Historic Weather it wouldn't have been worth the time and effort for me to make the jump...

  3. FSHud - Air Traffic Control announces integration with the newly released Active Sky FS by HiFi, and more.

Now released in the version 1.3 beta channel, FSHud – Air Traffic Control now includes compatibility with Active Sky FS by HiFi Simulation Technologies. While connected to Active Sky FS, FSHud - Air Traffic Control is able to receive and utilize more precise weather information and forecasts. This will allow for more accurate traffic configurations and runway selections at your airports.

Along with Active Sky FS integration, FSHud – Air Traffic Control has received the latest updates to its traffic engine. These updates provide significant improvements in aircraft vectoring, spacing, speed control, and ground handling.

All these features are now available for FSHud users via the beta version 1.3 channel. The BETA version can be selected as an option after purchase.

The FSHud team is also announcing new social media channels which will allow users to get the best Air Traffic Control experience, and to keep on top of new FSHud developments. These channels will improve the user experience through expanded information and guidance on how to use and configure FSHud, and will include video content that walks users through both basic and important modes of FSHud – Air Traffic Control operations.

  4. I swear I'm going to read all these pages, but first I'll ask: is FS Taffic worth it today?

Is this another Ultimate Traffic 2?

PS: I fly offline and with Historical Weather (thank you ASFS) so FSLTL shouldn't make much sense to me?

Because there are a lot of "streamers" who are completely inept and only interested in click bait for subscribers. Talk about scammers. I haven't seen all the streams but so far the ones I have seen indicate that the user doesn't have a clue on how to use the product.

It's sad and awful because many people follow and take into account the opinions of these guys.

I can understand that for many ASFS doesn't make sense because they use VATSIM weather or think that MeteoBlue's "live" weather results are good enough, but... scam?

  6. it's not bad at all...

Flying in the wrong weather because you don't have historical weather is "not bad at all...". Like me only being able to fly at night and only having night temperatures because the "simulator" doesn't offer (or don't allow/allow to show) more than that 😐

"it's not bad at all..." [facepalm]
