  1. Jim,Thanks for clarifying this for me. The wxstationlist.BIN file for fs9 is 26 kb; the one for fsx is 27 kb. The modify dates do show modifications on the dates I used ASv6 for each of the sims. So why do I get this message when I never used to get it?Thanks.Roy
  2. First, I should have asked this question earlier. Why do you ask to assure the Appication Data folder is read/write? There are no weather files in that folder. The wxstationlist.bin file is located in two places on my computer, in the Flight Simulator 9/weather directory and in the Microsoft Flight Simulator X/weather directory. For the FS9 directory, the size is 24 kb; for the FSX directory, the size is 25 kb. The last modify date on the one in FS9 is 2002; the last modify date on the one in FSX is 2006, so neither has been updated since created.Roy
  3. I am signed in under the Administrator account and the Aplication Data folder is enabled for both Read and Write, so this is not the problem.Roy
  4. In the last two months, everytime I start Active Sky, I get the message "AS has updated your FS wx station list file." I am then asked to reboot FS if it is running. I see no evidence of any wx station list being updated. What is causing this and is there a way to get it stopped? ASv6 stll is working fine, but this is a bit annoying.Thanks.Roy
  5. OK, tried the same flight plan this morning, 32 waypoints, new weather and it worked quickly. The flight plan was processed in under 15 seconds.Thanks.Roy
  6. There has been no change for me. For a flight plan of 32 points, it took 16.5 minutes to process the flight plan. Normally takes less than a minute. Something is still wrong.I got this message in starting ASv6 this afternoon. "AS has updated your FS wx station list. Please restart FS if already running so new stations can be accessed appropriately." I get this every 2 - 3 days. Never remember seeing this before. Can this have anyting to do with the problem?Roy
  7. Just tried to download weather for today, 13 hr - 16 hr and got message of incomplete data for all. Tried both servers with the same result. The last few times I have started ASv6 I have gotten some message about stations being updated. This has happened several times recently, downloads being requested, FS not active. Could this have any relation to some of these problems?Roy
  8. I have had the same thing happen today. I finally left it alone and 20 minutes later it had analyzed all the weather stations. It has never taken this long before.Roy
