Thanks Ronzie Very informative reply. All the details I need. Even though I have all my FSX installs on a separate drive it always is long tedious process to get everything working again on a new install.

I am in the process of backing up files for a new computer build and can't seem to locate my original install file for RC4. Can someone please post the exact name of the file so I can search for it. I have tried the obvious RC4 but no luck. Thanks Ken

When I follow the NADP 2 procedure above all go's well until I get to after pressing climb thrust. At this point I have Level Change in the left window and VNAV in the right window. There is no Set Flaps up Speed Available. I Have the latest PMDG and FS2 Crew updates installed. Where have I gone wrong? Thanks Ken

Is it possible to bring the cdu up in a separate window overlayed on the virtual cocpit window with a keyboard input? I know you can look down and and select the window to move it but I don't want to do this. In the MD11 I just press the num3 key and the cdu pops up overlayed on the window without moving my view down. I don't remeber how I did this in the MD11. Thanks Ken

Hi, All my exterior aiplane views are missing most of the airplane body with just pieces showing. Interior virtual cockpit views are fine. I am using FSUIPC and ezdok but I have had no problems running the MD11. My system is a Intel 920 and gtx 570. I also have the HighMemFix=1 in my cfg file. Any one else had this problem and found a cure? Thanks ken

I have messed around with my lights with 3d lights and neglected to save my aircraft config file. Big mistake. I can't get them to work correctly. I have nice lights but as soon as I turn them off they don't operate corectly after that. I just want to go back to originals. Would someone please post the original light section from the aircraft config for either the pas or cargo plane. Thanks Ken

I have tried bothways. I get the cabin altitude message if I just use FSX save and reload by load from FSX.As far as permissions go I have setup the FSX folder and FSX flight plans folder to allow full control. I also have UAC turned off.I am using RC4 and thought that might be the problem but have tried without that running and same result.Win7 64 OSThanks Ken

Here's the way I am saving.Pause sim and save flight in FSX. Save the flight with PMDG panel menu. Exit FSX.Start FSX load fsx saved flight. Load pmg panel menu saved flight.I get the following master warnings:Cabin Altitude, Cabin Rate, Avionics Fan overideThe only thing lit on the overhead is the Avionics fan(flow overide). I have EZdok so I have a full view of the overhead.Is this not the way to save and reload?Thanks Ken

Every time I reload a saved flight I get an alert for cabin altitude.Can someone please explain what procedures need to be followed to correct this condition. And why does it reload with that error.I also get a tail fuel warning but figured that one out myself.Thanks Ken
