  1. Update to my previous issue listed in #10 on page 1 of this thread..... Issue was that generators were not coming on line when engines started..... Have after many hours worked out the problem. I am using CH Throttles and FSUIPC. As per the manual, I deleted the mapping of the throttles to FSUIPC and re-mapped them into FSX. But this did not solve the problem until I remembered to go back to FSUIPC and delete the Throttle Axis Calibrations which were still live (even though I had deleted the main axis mapping!). This did the trick! Only issue now is that having mapped the throttles into FSX, I have lost the reversers! Next one to solve...... Hope this helps someone - took me about 10 hours to work it out!
  2. I have exactly the same problem. I follow the start-up process as per the Tutorial but the main generators never come on line. Also, the throttles move but the engines do not spool-up! Having been trying turning stuff off that could be interfering (eg FSUIPC, Ezdok, etc.) but to no avail so far. USing the preset panel states doesn’t help either!
  3. I have made the leap from 32bit Vista to 64bit Windows 7....had to do a clean install, so did so on a new hard disk....and now have a dual boot (into Vista or Win 7). I have also done a clean install of FSX and am slowly rebuilding all my add-ins. Note that as mentioned in other posts, you cannot do an upgrade from 32bit to 64...it has to be a clean install. First on was the brilliant J41...absolutely no problems with the reactivation or running it in Win 7. I have to tell you all that i am getting significant improvements in both frame rates and loading time...which i guess is mainly down to the move onto 64bit. For those interested, I am running a system which is now 2 years old (CPU: X9650 Quad unclocked, 4GB RAM, Nvidia 8800GTX). All in all, I am delighted by the move across onto 64bit and consider Win 7 to be a big improvement on Vista. I hope this helps anyone who is contemplating the move! Chris Rosling
