The RTW is known as a test of skills, planning, willpower, and endurance. The 2010 edition of the race did not disappoint in any of these regards. The 2009 Flight Simulator Around the World Race has come and gone, and this year proved to be the closest finish in the history of the race. The race also acknowledged the 75th Anniversary of the MacRobertson London to Melbourne Air Race, and featured aircraft from that race on many legs. This video serves as a visual testimony of some of the sights that were captured by myself, my teammates at Team Flightsim, and participants in other teams as well. Enjoy!

Congratulations Team Avsim. Words can't describe how amazingly close this race was. After we at Team Flightsim had a celebratory champagne dinner at Melbourne after our arrival we were glued to our Google Earths watching you bring it in.That was a lot of fun. Let's do it again next year! :(
