Short question: Since the last A32X-update (using the FBW-updater), the aircraft is always in "cold and dark" - mode after loading a new flight. Is this normal?

Would be interesting, if it's possible to save the basic data of MSFS (e.g. on an external HDD) to avoid re-downloading in case of a hardware failure or a new PC. Any experiences with this...?!

Using this fix since months - initially to avoid crashes in P3DV5.1 (Nvidia RTX 2080). And I never had a CTD in MSFS either. Highly recommend!

Nice hub for flights in the Caribbean area (KLM, American Airlines, TUIfly, Air Canada, Avianca, United Airlines, Jet Blue, Aruba Airlines, Jetair, Dividivi Airlines, etc.)! And a great start for a flight to St. Maarten...! 

Yes, I have ASCA installed, but it doesn't do anything for the EA mode! The textures are independent from EA... 

I'm very happy with this version! The "chess board pattern" in EA mode are not visible anymore and the transitions are very smooth. Well done HiFisim!!

Asobo fixed it fast last time (they fixed MOST of the Eastern US), so I would say we just need a little patience. I've provided corrections for most of the US (twice), and now I have also done part of the world, that should be enough to hold people over until Asobo has the fix ready. The US is 99% fixed with my US mod, but for the rest of the world, it's just too big of an area to fully take on. I've done enough corrections for now, I may revise a litle, but am taking a break from doing some huge project.

The problem is really annoying. And nobody knows, when Asobo will solve the problem. I saw some 3.-party meshes (e.g. Taburet) for MSFS. Is it possible that these could solve the problem temporarily...?

Hi Gerard, I tried the "mixed version" without the p3d.cfg tweaks and no AS-control of the volumetricclouds. cfg - and it looks much better than before! Thanks for your efforts!!

Absolutely! Think, what you already have paid for payware products and support this project! I just did it, and it didn't hurt...! 😉

Without a multi-view setup, I have the same "chess board clouds" above FL200 (actual AS-version, P3DHF1 and EA enabled). Unfortunately...!

With HF4, it's better than before with and without EA, but I still have some areas with "chess board" clouds. Would be nice, if this could also be fixed...

Just arrived: EKCH (Flytampa), 22R, ILS-approach without any problems. Of course, I had to enter the course and the frequency in the MCDU manually (Asobo bug), but the AP was working flawless - the first time after the recent update. If only the VNAV calculations could be fixed...! 

At gore54: Yes, Curacao is a nice place, but when you have to work here, it's not like a tourist..! 😉
