what about FS9 PMDG with the the captain as PNF and only controlling rudder for takeoff?

Hello guys, Well, simply without writing alot about this. Wouldn't be a great feature for FS2crew to let us choose if we want to which role to take during a flight? The First Officer usually has more work to do than the Captain does, and since FS2Crew simulates Captain duties and PF duties, you sometimes don't do much of work to the aircraft. I really would want to fly as a first officer or PNF for some flights, or for those who aren't ranked as Captains in RW. just a thought..

NGX taxiing is weird.if I push to 30% that would take me over 15 knots pretty quick. 21 gets me to move, I will have to lower that when moving by very little (by 0.3-0.5), that means you eitehr have to quickly press and release the F2 button or keep playing with the throttles to maintain a taxi speed or 5 + brakes. I use real world config, so no carbon pads!

Hey, I just love the 737NGX but I noticed, that I don't see effects like cockpit shadows or bloom inside the cockpit. I have other aircraft showing effects.. I have DX10 enabled and DX11 install on Win7 64bit

This happened to me and I had to re-install FSX 3 times until I thought of something to fix it..Vista users I guess only..This happened only when I installed a livery to an aircraft and I started FSX and I got that error msg..and yes textures folder was missing no idea how..so I opened Flight sim x folder properties and on previous versions tab I got like 5 versions or you can say backups or snapshotsi opened one before my last install and found the texture folder, I copied it to FSX main folder and FSX is running perfectly again...this should help, unless Vista hasn't been saving previous versions.. (soft of fodler/file restore, like the system restore for windows)

I'll be OC-ing my i7-920, should I look for RAMs @ 1600 or 1333C9..I was just looking at a guide to overclock the i7-920 on EX58-EXTREME to 4GHz and stable (and to 4.2GHz)they used EXTREME board and CORSAIR TR3X6G1333C9 DDR3 memory...also how do I get the DirectX 10?.. for Vista.. DirectX is showing ver 9.0c..

I've read reviews on EXTREME,UD4P and UD3R mobo's..I can't figure out what difference you get from the 3 mobo's, of course expect 2/3 way SLI and the RAM slots..I can't decide UD3R or the UD4P.. I'd go for the UD4P for its ability to install up to 24GBs of RAM, but read that it's not stable enough when overclocking and sometimes the EasyTune6 crashes or goes to bluescreen..BTW, when I overclock, is it going to stay @ the speed I overclocked to..? or crash after some hours? I leave the PC running 24/7..

has anyone used EasyTune6 on X58 boards to overclock? I just read from a review that sometimes it crashes and could go to BlueScreen state..is that true?

If I'm looking for at least 2 way SLI, and overclock to 4GHz (i7-920), Would you recommend the Gigabyte EX58-UD3R or the EX5-UD4P?or if I get teh EXTREME version, is it the ultimate mobo I could get for now, and won't be thinking to upgrade my mobo?

so 720 WATT is Ok....I found Gigabyte Power supply, ill consider PC Power..

that's great..ok, let's forget about the CPU upgrade for at least 6 Months, will it run fine with the GTX260? even if I don't OC both of them?so I'll need the GTX260 with an aftermarket heat-sink fan for the CPU on the i7-920 OC-ed, and FSX will run smoothly...and I'll be installing Xp or Vista 64bit version, I might prefer Xp..haven't tried Win7is this mother board good or need a better one like the EXTREME version?will I need more Watts? is 720W power supply good enough to run the system, and overclocked? (1 HDD + 1 DVD-ROM + USB keyboard and Mouse)also, what manufactures is best? there is the Gigabyte GeForce GTX260 and the MSI, the eVGA? I would go for the Gigabyte as I picked the Gigabyte Motherboard.. what is your recommendation?you have been a great help...Thanks a lot..
