Hi, can anyone help with purchases from Winwing? Maybe this can only be answered by an Australian. Three times I have attempted to purchase the Boeing MCP panel from Wingwing. And on three occasions, after about a week, they informed me that they cannot deliver to Australia, and I should claim a refund, which they have. I finally found an Australian location that Winwing uses as a warehouse. I purchased from there, and ended up with a cancelled order again. It appears that you have to pay import duties and postage, which I am happy to do, but I couldn't find any provisions on their website to pay extra charges. The Australian website is http://au.winwingsim.com Is there anyone who has purchased from Winwing and received products in Australia? Could you please provide a step-by-step guide on how to do this? I really want to purchase this product. What's frustrating is that Winwing accepts my order, knowing it's being delivered to Australia, then waits 10 days to tell me it can't process the order. If you can help, please email me at [email protected] Regards Paul
  3. Hi All I have just started using ProATC/X in conjunction with active sky - FSX - and pmdg queen of the skies. I create my routes with PFPX, then save the flight as .pln and .rte format, then export them to active sky and ProATC/x All move along quite nicely until ProATC/X tells me to turn 180 degrees and return to a particular waypoint. It would seem this waypoint has been missed. However after checking the flight plan in the queen of the skies fmc, the pln file in ProATC/x and the .rte file in pmdg/FSX the waypoint appears in all of them. So for the rest of the flight like a rabid dog ProATC/x keeps telling me to turn 180 degrees and return to the way point even though it has been passed and is 300 mile behind. Has anyone else experienced this, or my know how to stop it happening Thx Paul ps I looked for a ProATC/X forum site to post this, couldn't find it. Is there a forum for this software.

As we all know FSX ATC is very basic and out dated. However early arrival information is helpful in determining runway selection for landing. FSX ATC will not give you access to tower or ATIS until you are very close ie 20-30 miles at best. I believe that when you can select your airport from the ATC (nearest airport menu) you probably cannot contact ATIS or Tower by radio frequency. Why FSX stops radio contact up until this final position I have no idea. Does anyone know how I can contact atis or tower at an earlier time (say 60 miles out) or obtain rwy info so that earlier preparation and FMC set up is possible. Regards Paul
  5. ok I have 2 X systems. the first is a pc with high graphics capability and a lap top with top end graphics capability, however the pc is the most powerful. On both systems is installed FSX and PMDG 747 Queens of the skies. Both have been installed from identical disks and set up pretty much the same. When on the pc all my landings with ILS are experiencing low airspeeds, even though the flap scheduling is exactly as the FMC and HSI stipulate. The flaps low airspeed horn starts to sound, and the aircraft may lose its capture of the ILS However when landing with the laptop no issues with airspeed. So I set up a flight which was to take off KLAX 7L and Land KLAX 7L. This was set up on both machines making sure that everything was exactly the same on both. Here are the results before take off. Laptop PC GRWT 496.2 GRWT 496.1 Fuel 29.7 Fuel 29.4 ZFW 466.5 ZFW 466.7 V1 159 V1 122 VR 177 VR 123 V2 188 V2 148 Take off 198 Take off 158 flaps 10 flaps 10 notice the difference in airspeeds. No wonder I am experiencing low airspeed on approach with the pc. However these numbers are generated from the FMC not me. I was on the understanding that the flight simulator only responded to flying variables. If both flights are identical why the huge discrepancy in air speeds. If I raise my approach speeds, when flying on the pc, then they don't coincide with the flaps scheduling. can anyone help
  6. Hi I am running the 747 Queen of the skies in FSX I would like to run the pre start check list. I have set the aircraft up at a parking ramp at a certain location. I have gone to the aircraft menu at the top of the screen Then I select knee board then select checklist Now I have a list if items to select ie. first officers flight deck pre flight To the right of that is a little oblong circle with a blue horizontal bar through it. How do I open this document, nothing seems to work.? Is this the correct check list for this aircraft? how do you open the pmdg 747 checklist with in the cockpit environment. I have read the actual document many times from the file system. Other than reading from hard copy how do you open it up in the aircraft cockpit? Any sugestions would be appreciated Regards Paul
  7. Maybe you can fly into this airport with an AirCreation, stop at the counter and order yourself a cup of coffee. lol
