  1. Thanks Bill,Actually it was I, not Klaus, who was inquiring.Klaus was trying to help, but was confused as well. I rather suspected that, but just wanted to be positive before ordering. Perhaps this thread itself may clerify what is meant exactly by the "DC-3A package." There are a couple repainters who have refered to the new FS/9-FSX version as that. It would probably help to mention that in the description as well, or at least tell the repainters of the confusion that can occur. As you can see, from the posts above, there were several versions of the DC-3 that were (DC-3A xxxx) versions introduced in 1939 and the early 40's. I have the RD4-DC-3 2002/2004 CD and the free dowloaded C-47.I also have the FS2000 CD..I'll just go ahead and order the version 10 CD, since it includes the R4D/DC-3/C-47 for both FS9 and FSX as well.I like the CD's for what one might consider collector's items, or as others might say, items that collect dust.Regards, fred
  2. Klaus,Thanks for the reply! It's not exactly what I meant. I’m aware there were several versions of the DC-3, including several DC-3A models, that were introduced in the 1930’s and 40’shttp://www.douglasdc...faa/a-669.pdfto I’ve seen liveries and other additional addons on several FS sites stating that the MAAM-SIM R4D-6/DC3A package is required.I've spent much time sorting through the MAAM web site for such a "package" without success. Thanks for validating my point though. It seems as though I’m not the only one who's confused?!?!. fred
  3. I must be loosing something in my nogen. What is version FS2004/2002 R4D-6/DC-3A? The CD and download is listed as FS2004/2002 R4D-6/DC-3/C47 Could this be it?
  4. Thanks Ron, That was the ticket. It solved the problem for Calgary. If I have anymore problems I know now where to change the frequencies.Dil
  5. I've been having the same problem only it happenes on approach at about 50nm from 'A' (the arrival airport) when leaving the frequency to get weather. The screen goes black, then FS2004 reloads. Of course I loose RC in the process. It just happened when approaching KORD yesterday and again today when approaching CYYC Calgary. When I reload the flight plan I noticed that the ATIS frequency for the A airport is 118.00MHz when it should be 127.20 MHz for Calgary. (see in quote) When I changed the frequency' date=' on the second line, to read [b']12720[/b] and reflew the same plan everything worked fine.(no black screen and reloading of FS)D/ATIS(11800) D/CD(12800) D/GND(12170) D/TWR(11990) D/DEP(12590) D/ARR(12650)A/ATIS(12720) A/GND(12130) A/TWR(11840) A/DEP(11980) A/ARR(12590)I know the work around now, I just don't know the permenant solution.Actually at CYYC GND is 12190 and Clearance Delivery is 12130, but it doesn't affect the flight. All other frequencies are correct.I know the work-around, just don't know the permenant solution.I'm guessing I should run debug but am not sure at this point.Note: I have another problem as well, but I don't think it's related to Honus's problem. That is, I'm using FS9 but for some reason RC reads "Launch Radar Contact 4.3 for FS X."I don't even have FSX loaded on the computer any more.
  6. Your history with various anti-virus programs sounds like mine. Perhaps MS has got something here by offering their own version of virus software free. After all, it's thier products that everyone else is trying to defend you against. I did have Windows Live 1 Care for a couple years and liked the fact that it didn't try to take over my computer as some others do. That's also why, for the past couple years I've been a advocate of AGP. I'd like to think that once they get a few complaints, they'll be back with a fix if it is indeed their problem. Anyway, I'm sure glad I found this post! Whew!I just got a new computer a week ago which includes the new windows 7 (64bit) OS. Since I've used AGP for the last couple years I downoladed v9 as well. I was having the exact same problems by recieving the error 75 and error 52 messages, when trying to run RC, I spent hours trying to figure out the RC problem, not to mention other problems with software reloads.FYI, eariler this week I had trouble loading some Addon scenery. I suspected the windows 7 firewall and disabled it with some success, but I really think it was only because I tried some other work-arounds as well. I finally loaded some scenery by picking the cashe it, then choosing the direct load. I don't know if this was AGP related, but things have just been miserable trying to reload my FS software all week. The RC problem was just as mentioned above: run time error 75 RadarContact.fsuipc.rcv4 code. I received the same error message plus (error 52) as well. After reading this thread I decided to uninstalling AGP v.9 and installed the Micrsoft MCE virus software. At first I was about to dismiss AGP v9 as the culprit, but remembered that, when reloading RC v4 into the new computer, error messages with a choice to "abort" or "retry", kept popping up
