Hey friends of P3D forums, I have a couple of issues in visual approach RWY08 at Innsbruck Airport: First:no matter what I do I can´t establish on LOC OEV 111.1 Second: if you see this video of famous Frooglesim: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpMUXn-akP8&t=1159s as opposite as what happen in this approach of frooglesim (good approach and landing), if I do the same visual approach, the famous approach RWY08 over the hills and then a steep final to the right, when I follow the path described over the NDB INN hdg 264, I almost crush with the mounts, but in this video yo can see that Froogle flies along that path hdg 264 freely with not much TERRAIN danger and of course is what really happen in real life, actually in prepar 3D V3 I can´t select INN hdg 264, I MUST to select hdg 268 as minimum in order not to crash to the mounts to the left side. I have installed in P3D V3: FTX ORBX GLOBAL. FTX GLOBAL VECTOR, FTX EUROPE LANDCLASS, AND PILOT'S FS GLOBAL 201O. please anyone can give me an advice what could happen with my terrain mesh or anything else. thanks in advance !!!

Hey friends, I have a situation that is very annoying for me. when i'm flying I like very much to change views, and you know that there's a cycle of views, first if you are in virtual cockpit, and you press "S" in keyboard the view change to spot plane view, then you press "S" keyboard again and you go to "nearest airport" but when you press "S" key in order to return to virtual cockpit, you can see that outside the ground textures are vanish and slowly them start to return, turning this very annoying to me, so I have realized that if I made rapidly the transition from spot plane, then nearest tower and at last virtual cockpit, the vanish efects of ground textures is minimum. So my request for all of you guys is: Is there a possibility to deactivate the "nearest tower view" when flying and only have the chance to activate again when app or maybe when takeoff . My Prepar3D V3 are settled almost every options to very high or ultra, with HDR effects on, Vsinc OFF, sampler 4X, anisotropic 16X, FPS limited to 31 FPS, using Nvidia Inspector for settings. I don't want to think to decrease quality of textures in order to get rid of this problem, maybe there´s another solution. :mad: this is my specs for my desktop PC: - Windows 7 ultimate 64 bits with files updated. - Intel I7 4790K at 4.0 Ghz no overclocked yet (only a few days with this brand new desktop PC) - Asus Z97-E motherboard LGA1150 - Asus GeForce GTX 980TI not overclocked yet - G. Skill RipjawsX 1600 Mhz, 16GB RAM - Noctua NH-D15S. I have installed ORBX FTX Global Base, Vector and Europe Landclass.(currently flying around Europe) The temperatures of my CPU and GPU when flying with PMDG737NGX are 44°C and 55°C to 60°C respectively. this is what I'm talking about Picture before tower view --------------------------------- http://postimg.org/image/slhcqwm5n/ As you can see ground texture are very nice before pass through tower view!! Hello, I have a question regarding this Pilot's FS Global 2010, recently I have installed this along with FTX Gobal, Vector and LC Europe, but I don´t know why it is also installed in folder temp of my user account, this is very annoying because if you think this program is then installed "twice" taking a lot of SSD disk space. thanks in advance !!!

Thanks Martin-W, you mean is best to install a Noctua instead of water cooling system?, I thought that water cooling give better results for a overclocking system. thanks again.

Hey fiends again, of AVSIM forums, I'm considering the possibility for getting a brand new PC, I'm really tired of watching while FSX or P3D run with many lack of graphic continuity, bad refresh of graphics, etc so I'm decided to get a new one. My budget available is US$ 3.000 and specs are: - Intel CPU Core I7 4790K 4.0 GHZ. - MOBO Asus Intel LGA1150 Z97-K. - Graphic card Asus GTX 980 4096MB. - G Skill DDR3 16GB(2x8GB) 2133 mhz PC3-17000 Ares - Corsair Watercooling Hydro Series H75 Performance and some others pieces that I'm still looking after. Please give me an advice for other pieces to consider and suggestions for anything else!!! another question related mother board specs, I can see the supported memory modules and alsocan observe that there are native memory speeds for this mobo (1600/1333 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory )* and also overclocked speeds, (3200(O.C.)/3100(O.C.)/3000(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2800(O.C.)/2666(O.C.)/2600(O.C.)/2400(O.C.)/2250(O.C.)/2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1866(O.C.) about it, how can I overclock a memory module so it can run at speeds describe previously??. for example if I get this memory modules:G Skill DDR3 16GB(2x8GB) 2133 mhz PC3-17000 Ares. What will be the overspeed limit for each module?. my current PC is an Intel i5 2.6 overclocked to 3.6GZ MSI mother board P55-GD85 KIngston 16GB RAM and this PC got it's limits I think because being applying all tweaks depicted in internet and youtube I can´t get more !!! thanks in advance for any remark, suggestion, etc. etc. :wink:

I have unistalled and reinstall a fresh Prepar3D v3, I can make sure the problem is present when I have more than 12 or 13 kts of wind, (i'm using ASN), but this problem did not happen with FSX no matter the wind speed, I followed the advices suggested according let FSUIPC have the control of joystick, so I did, I disabled the prepar3d settings for my joystick microsoft sidewinder. I don´t know what else to do. How could I know the right settings for calibration of my joystick? Thanks in advance

Hey friends, I have this issue, no matter the airplane, when apply thrust tend to steer right or left, PMDG, Aerosoft, default, this issue as I can realize is connected with weather, when I apply winds calm, takeoff of every plane goes well, but when I apply 10 kt or more this issue appears, with P3D custom weather or active sky next. autorudder is always activated. data: windows 7 64 bits Prepar3d v3.2 PMDG 737NGX or aerosoft Airbus. active sky next and default weather FSUIPC v4.95 registered. I tested with calibrated joystick microsoft sidewinder. This issue never happen with FSX. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: . Thanks in advance.

Thanks Kyle, let me see if I understand your advices: If I go to FMC Hold page and I set EXIT HOLD, the plane will exit inmediately or it will end the hold totally, and procede with the next waypoint?. Ok, I think I will use the MDA altitude and then fly by hand, thanks for answers !! (sorry for my english, not native english person). Thansk !!!

Hey fellows of avsim PMDG forums, recently I did my first RNAV app on SCIE airport, this APP RNAV is called LODOS1C, so the procedure goes from LODOS, DAKEP until ENTAV at 3500 ft, if you can see in the chart attached below, there is a hold turn to the right at ARTEN, ok, when the times come, once overflying ARTEN the PMDG 737NGX started to make hold turn just the chart shows, so I tought ok, after this hold maybe it will continue to the ARTEN, but this not happen, the plane did another right turn, so the question about this, what´s the right procedure when you must to face a HOLD pattern flying on 737NGX? And in the second hand, If I fly a RNAV app what´s the altitude you must to enter to MCP, altitude of IAF or the RWY threshold altitude?. Thanks for answers. I want to remove cones because it looks very unreal when AES o GSX services cars moving around plane and pass through them as they were invisible. But I think i'm going to use APU to avoid seeing cones on ground. Thanks in advance

I have downloaded form flightsim store FS Global 2010 and it has several .zip files .z01 .z01, etc. but there is no tutorial to install it, please anyone can help me step by step instalation. thanks in advance.

Thanks Scandinavian friend, but I think I know how to operate this plane, this issue happen sometimes, actually I come from flying from South America, good weather, so the approaches happened with no problems, I think this issue is related to bad weather, I mean windshear maybe !!!... I'm going to check the option smooth winds in FSUIPC.. Thanks my friend !!

Hey fellows I have a question for you!!...I have the PMDG 737NGX, running on FSX, 1,2 MB of Nvidia GTX470, 8 GB RAM, Intel I5, Windows 7 64 bits, and for weather I'm using Active Sky Next. Sometimes when I'm starting the final approach the speed increase and decrease constantly, this is very annoying because at final app it's supposed the speed must decrease, for instance yesterday I did a flight from Tromso to Vienna and the speed for final app couldn't decrease less than 240 kias, and the speed tape showed up decrease and increase, finally I got to turn over and try to decrease the speed leveled to 2500 ft. so I could finally land. What happen?....maybe is the windshear effect ?..maybe a FSUIPC issue???...............In ASN options I have selected the option prevent changes of weather at approach. please help.. Hey guys, I'm enjoying this awesome plane, but I have a problem with nose wheel, when I increase throttle to start moving the plane the nose wheel doesn´t move to the right or left. I change to another plane by example A320 X Aerosoft and the nose wheel move correctly. but this is happening with both 772LR (before install SP1 and 77W work ok !!) and 77W. I have a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick. Help please !!

I know this is a very general question but I would like to know the range of speeds I should have before enter in Final approach fix into a ILS app. I ask this because I have a problem I have noticed recently in my last fights I have reach the FAF with 200 kts or more sometimes, so when the ILS is captured obviously the plane begin with the descent according with FP due to ILS and the speed of my 777 begins to increase sometimes beyond than 210 kts, so you might think its very dangerous enter in final app phase with so greater speed. Last afternoon I did a flight between EFHK - LOWW and got enter into FAF with 200 kts, so the landing was to fast 170 kts, you could think this is very annoying issue. (I have look into FCTM specifically the graphic charts of ILS app but in those charts doesn´t appear reference speeds only the situation and the flaps configuration.) Please give some directions about it !!!! Thanks in advance sorry for my english, not english speaking person.

This have happen to me several times, more often when I´m landing, for instance yesterday I did a flight from LOWW to EFHK, flying on 777 PMDG, everything was right until the approach time, I was stablished on localizer and following glideslope with APilot, in the moments prior landing the speed started with a strange behaviour increasing and descending randomly until it fall low than a vref speed, I could observe 115 kts so the nose of plane started to pitch up and I had to execute miss app, I can say that behaviour is observed in several payware planes using third person weather, in this case I'm using FSrealWX freeware, during the takeoff and cruise everything is cool, the problems begin in app phase. I'm using FSUIPC 3.48. with smooth change of winds activate. Please someone knows about this issues?....is there software reasonable good not showing this kind of behaviour? Now !!!.. parked at Astana International Airport (UACC/TSE) from Vienna after a 4:39 hrs of flight as AUA697, very quiet by the way. Landed on a freeze weather -30°C (-22° F) path to the gate shows a freeze cold air coming out from engines. Airline livery Austrian Airlines 777LR (fictional). Preparing for today the flight back home Vienna.
