I thought I might bump this thread to see whether any progress had been made on this front? I've tried a few different things, but I still can't get it to work. Very frustrating, I don't play FS2004 nearly as much as I used to because of it.

Fantastic work so far, I'm very tempted to just reinstall FS9 in XP using the Virtual PC feature. I signed up just to reply to this thread. I really hope you can find a way to get FSHotSFX to work with Windows 7; it would be a tremendous pity to lose it, as it adds to the ambience of the simulator more than any other addon I can think of. It's a shame that the developers seem to have given up on the product as well; I'd definitely pay for a quality FS9 AI sounds package if another group developed one.
