I got it fixed....not sure what I did though.....only now is no WX radar...I've gone back and forth with them and they offered a refund or another acft. Very nice of them.....but the acft is fun to fly so I guess I'll just do without the WX radar or post for help on here.

The problem is not in the registry. All my stock and add-on flying aircraft all show up in the FSX menu selection for me to fly. All my aircraft have functioning gauges EXCEPT the PA46. There is no avionics. Generator is on, avionics master is on, flt director is on..........if I turn the radio knobs on, I can't select any freqs or comm 1/comm 2, I can't select hdg, nav, alt, gps, bc,can't change freqs on the radios, no DME......if its avionics, it doesn't work....

So would I, but Carenado in its wisdom, only installs it in ProgramFiles(86)/Games....I don't have the option to "browse" and install where I want.

But I had the problem before that......

After figuring out to load PA46 in my C:fsx/microsoft flt sim fsx file instead of program files/86, I have a airplane but no matter how many times I cycle the radios on/off I have no display. I obviously have the generator on and the avionics switch on. When I copied the files to where I wanted/needed them, I notices all the gauge files were still zipped so I unzipped them into the gauge folder....all the .bmp's are there. No fun flying without airspeed, radios, gps, etc. BTW even with the radio knob "on" I can't select frequencies. Any help would be appreciated. Tom

No, it was totally gone......What I ended up doing was copy my FS9/gauges/ GPS .cab to FSX and it seems to be working. But I have no idea why I lost it in the first place.

When I hit the GPS symbol in the cockpit of any aircraft including default, I no longer have GPS. How can I "reinstall" the default GPS systems???

I'm using Myfs Google Earth by some Dutch guy. I get accurate "still pics" but no am unable to watch the google scenery change while I fly my fs9....fs9 just goes to "pause" when I try to look at myfs google earth.

I thought google earth would show movement as the airplane flew but all I get is a "still shot" and FS9 goes to "pause". Shouldn't the two work together and show acft movement over the ge environment?

That did it. Why? Now I guess i have to redo the config values for performance, texture, etc....

Out of a clear blue sky,all my keyboard commands are inop, i.e. w key, p key, esc key. Tried a different keyboard. Same problem. Tried FSX and the keyboard works fine. Any ideas?

Is there any generic configuring I can do to add afterburner to my AI F-15/F-16/F-18?

That's my problem, LarryRF, except I manually placed my airport bgl in addonscenery/scenery (from c:\rwy12) and the static objects still don't show up. I'm running Win 7 32bit. Darned if I know. One computer ago I had rwy12 items all over my airports. I got this computer and never bothered to reinstall rwy12 until after I upgraded from XP to WIN 7. Think I'll send Opa some offline info also.

yes, you can save the xml file where you want..... do a "save as".... but you have no choice when you "generate scenery" for the bgl file

Hyde.bgl is in addonscenery/scenery. Object placer insists on saving it elsewhere. I give up. This has beaten me down for two days. Thanks for your time sir.

OK, reference my original post....all files are where they belong. I have tons of bgl and xml files. They all have data....Rwy12 and libraries were installled word for word by the install instructions you wrote. UAC is off.....I don't see any static objects after using object placer, saving, generating, exiting, closing FS9, reloading FS9. After FS9 restart I have no added static objects showing. The main Rwy 12 file is separate in my C:\ files. Library 1 FOLDER was placed in FS9>addon scenery. Library 2 & 3 scenery and texture FILES were placed in FS9>addon scenery>scenery and FS>addon scenery>texture and are visible when I open the folders.

Like I said, RWY12 runs, object placer runs. I get and can find bgl & the other file. It syncs with 2004 to get coordinates. I can see the files in static objects library>scenry. I can see my texture files.

RWY12 comes up - object placer comes up.....Files loaded and viewable as stated above. Never had a problem with UAC. Should I turn it off and try the program again?

FSX tends to lock up when it is "busy" such as maneuvering for ILS. Then it restarts. I run Dual core 3800+, 32 bit, 3g ram, nvidia 7600 video card. At idle on the runway I'm using 504k mem, CPU usage is 50%, and I have 1.6 mb memory available.When just flying along I'm using 530k mem, CPU usage is 60% to 97%, and 1.5mb memory available.Any suggestions on why FSX locks up? Or better yet, how to fix it. Thanks
