    My guess is it's more of an issue/bug with how the frame rate calculator works (are you using Geforce Experience to show frames?). I can't tell in your video because you didn't move the views around, but is it clear that the framerate was actually 90+ in each window? You could double check this with the shift-z FPS counter.

    The A/T automatically engages if you get too close to the edge of the "envelope" e.g. if you get too slow for your configuration.
