    I just discovered that for my system, I have to set the Global options in the Graphics Setting - Display to Very high to get decent resolution in the VC. i.e., Options, Settings, Display, Graphics - Global options - Global texture resolution slider - all the way right.

    Regarding comments on getting GPS data into Apps, see GPSsimcable.com . I haven't tried it yet (it's on order), but it looks good. Jim
