  1. Hey, So I just got a new computer today with my main goal to run FSX as smooth as i can. I have done alot of research about hardware requirements and have learned that installing FSX on a separate SSD can help performance. My computer has a 1TB Western Digital hard drive, and also a 120GB Crucial M500 SSD. I was planning on dedicating the SSD to FSX with all of my add-ons and everything, but the SSD seems to be my main C drive and my 1TB WD hard drive is the D drive. My windows 7 is installed on the SSD (C Drive) and it seems to be my default drive at the moment where everything gets downloaded to. Does anyone know how to move everything to my 1TB WD hard drive and make that my default drive so I can dedicate my SSD 100% to FSX? Any help is much appreciated, Tyler
  2. Ok its good to get some input! Thanks guys! -Tyler
  3. Hey everyone, So I am looking to buy a new computer specifically for FSX and was looking to run activesky 2012, REX, orbx scenery and of course the PMDG products! I came across a company online named Falcon which makes high performance stock trading computers that look pretty decent for flight simulator as well. I am looking for opinions on if these PC's would run FSX smoothly with relatively high settings, or even better, if somebody has tried FSX with one of these computers! Here is the link to their computers: http://www.tradingcomputers.com/TCdesktop.html Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Tyler
  4. My Active Sky 6.5 (Build 552) will not let me connect to the servers. It keeps saying download failed or cancelled. It worked yesterday but was EXTREMELY slow. It took me about an hour to load a flightplan with only 20 waypoints on it! It also took about 10 minutes to fetch a weather report of an airport. Today it won't even connect to the servers at all. Please Help! Tyler
