    Just disengage altitude hold, then you will be able to climb or descend. (switch at the right) When you switch altitude hold to on, the autopilot will maintain the altitude you're at. Hope it works now! I have a manual called on the Sperry 77. I think it's from Avsim, but can't seem to find it, will try to send it via a Private Message. Best regards,
