I'm sure this has been asked several times but if anyone can help I'd be more than grateful. I have spent a lot of money and time to get FSX but am seriously thinking of selling everything and giving up. No matter what I do my system shuts down with a message telling me I'm out of available memory. I'm running in Intel Core i7 6700K @ 4 GHZ with 32Gb of installed RAM so it's a fairly powerful computer. I am so disheartened with this whole syste and beginning to wish I'd not bought the programmes etc i have. Any help and advice would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi All, I have just been looking around on sites like Avsim and FlightSim.com etc and notice there are repaints of the B747-8i Have I missed something as I didn't think the 8i had been released yet from PMDG. Maybe someone could enlighten me! When I purchased the 747 package from PMDG (online) am I correct in thinking the 8i will be available at no extra charge? Sorry if I'm sounding kinda dumb!

Sorry if this has been asked before. I am I correct in thinking that as I purchased the New 747 from the PMDG site I can also obtain a set up for the 747-8i? If so how do I go about doing this. Hi,I hope someone can help.I change aircraft registry CFG's just to make listing aircraft easier, ie, alter the CFG entries so I can have each aircraft grouped together when selecting an aircraft to fly when starting FS.I've done this for every aircraft I have loaded.For some reason if I edit the 767 winglet model it will not show in the 'select aircraft' library. Several years ago I purchased a programme called Trafficboard created by Josef Dernberger. To date it is the easiest AI programme I have ever come across. For some reason I just can't get on with any other AI programmes.It was so easy to import flight plans, creat new ones and export to FS.....I've recently changed my PC and now using windows 7 but this programme will not work.I've tried to contact the creator but guess he has retired from flight sim programming.Is there anyone out there who would be prepared to have a look at it if I email the files and see if it will work with windows 7?I'm more than happy to pay for any time spent on this.Failing that is there a very simple either freeware or purchase programme that is very simple to use?Thanks for any help..Adrian

Hi allFirstly if this has been asked before sorry for asking again...!:( Is this gorgeous, wonderful, sexy, hypnotic, amazing (and all the other adjectives possible) 737NGX going to be compatable with FS2004?.:( I've just spend the last 6 weeks on FSX but just can't get on with it so in the process of reinstalling FS2004...... trouble is I'd hate to miss out on something that looks soooooo good!:( Yhanks for any ideas..Adrian

Hi All :( Firstly I hope I'm on the right forum for this topic... if not sorry :( I've just made the leap from FS2004 to FSX and in the process of reinstalling everything.I've just installed Ulitame Traffic 2 for the first time....from what I've seen so far a superb programme!.:( Anyway, will all the AI aircraft I used in FS2004 work in FSX?. As I'm sure you know there are several hundered types and then several hundered repaints of each type so there is a lot of work gone into it!.Am I going to have to start from scratch or can I simply copy all my AI aircraft then use UT2 to work the flight plans? Hope someone can help!!.Adrian

Hi All I've finally taken the dive and switched to fsx for fs9 as I've just got a new higher powered machine.Anyway I'm drifing off subject I'm trying to manually add some scenery files but for some reason I can't get them to accept into the scenery menu.For example, say I want to add.... Faro as an example, I go to the sceney settings box, add area then select the airport I want to add. Click ok but nothing happens :( Usually it shows the folder path in the upper box then the folder name, the directory box goes blank.:( I've never had this problem with fs9 (I know my way around the inner workings of flight sim!!).Due to other problems I've been told about possible problems with windows 7 and the UAC which I've disabled while installing everything.......Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or what I should be doing?:( ThanksAdrian

Thanks for the reply and advice.I did as you suggested and gave permission for all users to have full access to the drive I have FS installed on.:( However, the problem still remains with one exception. If I enter a route already in the saved plans ie EGKKLFPG001 it give a message of unable to load route.If I attempt a manual flight plan it is still freezing.:( I've done the obvious of shutting down and restarting but no good so uninstalled and reinstalled MD11 but still the problem persists.What I don't really understand is that the 737 works fine... no problems at all...Any other ideas/ suggestions?:( By the way I'm using FS2004......

Hi,I have a question....I've been flying the MD11 in FS9 since it's realease.I've just changed my PC and now using window 7 (64Bit).All the time I've flown this bird I've never had a problem until now. Everything works like a dream until I try and enter a flight plan, either by a saved flight or creating a new one.As soon as I put the co route or the origin/ dest. FS freezes but doesn't crash.:( Just out of curiosity I started to enter a new route from LSZH - LFPG and as usual it's frozen without being accepted.:( I've left it now for over 7 hours and still it's not accepted the inputs. Everything freezes (get the hand pointer when it's processing the inputs). The only thing I can do is to shut FS down using the task manager...Any ideas?Hope someone can help 'cos I want to fly my fav. bird!!!:( Adrian

Hi,Well I only got as far as the channel before I started to fall asleep so just taken the TC big bird out this morning. Using real world weathr (VERY strong winds!!):( Its a beauiful work of art... and a joy to fly, hit the ground in AMS quite hard though... I'm putting that one down to winds Guess it was a 'controlled crash':( That said I have flown with a few capatins who like to make sure every body on board knows we have landed.... one of the joys of being a FA I guess... 'gird your loins and gab the seat we coming in!!'.Keep up the amazing work!!Adrian

I feel as if I've been around the world!!.B) Still I'm going to have to have a play before I crash out!!!. Hi,I had to perform a system restore on my pc last night due to a graphics problem.Anyway everything is working fine except FS2004. It loads up without a problem until I select or create a flight. I get on error message about the ATC.dll then shuts down.Is there an easy way for fix this or am I going to have to start all over again with a clean install?.Hope someone can helpThanksAdrian
