  1. Hi guys. I have been having this problem lately especially when i load up high density addon sceneries such Aerosoft or Orbx. Aircrafts that i use are the common payware ones like PMDG, IFLY, Captain Sim and Quality Wings. So the scenario is that after loading is completed, the VC textures becomes all black. Sometimes it loads ok but when i changed views i.e VC to locked spot to VC again - the VC textures becomes black and then it will stay that way even when i load up default sceneries. I have minimized the scenery sliders thinking its a memory issue but its still happening. I used to have OOM issues big time but since i have installed the 3gb fix, its all gone but then this issue with the black textures came up. My interest in FSX has dwindled because of the OOM issues but it has now rekindled because of the 3gb fix. But i wonder if thats the cause of the black VC textures. Below i have included my pc specs (yes i know, its a dinosaur..Hahaha) my boot.ini where i put my 3gb fix and my FSX cfg file. Hope you guys can help. Thanks.   2. Hi Loyd,I just want to let you know that after reconfiguring my proxy.ini cfg file according to your suggestions, i'm getting about 80 to 110 tile access frames per second now which is more than i could ever hope for with the spec that i have so i thank you very much.regardsgaza
  3. Hi guys.I removed some addons that i didn't want recently and found out that my fsx was not working properly so i did a complete uninstall/reinstall. Everything worked fine except now fsx won't load any of my saved flightplans properly. If i plan a flight from the flight planner menu on the main menu and save it, the plans will load after loading the sim but when I checked my gps, all the waypoints are there but the distances were something ridiculous like 6997 nm between each waypoints and no flightpath. The only way i can load/plan a flightplan properly is when the sim is already loaded using the flightplanner menu from there. So that means i have to redo every flightplan for every flight that i do! That's really time consuming and well...really sucks big time. I hope you guys can help.cheersgaza

Relatively new to FSX and just installed Tileproxy Beta 8 a couple of days ago. Currently my tile access per second is hovering between 25 to 65 averaging about 40 and i am wondering whether this is normal for my pc spec or are there any tweaks or tips to improve my tile access performance. My internet connection speed hovers on average at 8 mbit/s so connection should not be a problem. Below are specs for my pc and os as well as my proxy.ini and FSX cfg files.
