I very much look forward to this DC-6B!

I guess I will put in a ticket then...I just thought someone else might have run into this as well.I would like to add that in the load manager, the pax versions will never calculate CG correctly. No matter what I load or how I load it, the numbers are always in the red..

For some reason, when I load any passenger model, I end up with a VC view that is way off where it should be. I have tried hitting the spacebar to get the view to default, but it does not work. I cannot move my view in FSX either.... (see pic below for an example)My Freighters work as they should, it is only the passenger models that give me problems. Can someone help me with this?

h00t74,I FINALLY was able to get my support ticket in to PMDG yesterday. Apparently there were problems with someone's mail server (mine or theirs) because I received like 10 e-mail confirmation links at once. I woke up about 30 minutes ago and was greeted with a gift....a brand new dll.xml file from PMDG that saved the day! The support technician said that somehow the PMDG entries were never added to the file, he did not know how it could have happened. Now when I start up the sim, everything works PERFECT, it is so exciting!Now I have a different problem...I have to go to WORK today Oh well, I will spend the time studying over the Operations Manual some more lolThanks again for your offers to help and for the encouragement to continue pursuing the issue. I usually don't get frustrated so quickly, I guess I am getting grumpy as I get older.

I suppose that would make sense. I will search around and try to get a copy from PMDG or from someone at my VA in the mean time and see if I can't try that.many thanks

LOL, thanks for the encouragement but I am just feeling pretty deflated about the thing. The way I see it is I'm giving it another chance today and if I cannot at least get a ticket in to PMDG, I'm gonna toss it and go purchase something from another company.Yes sir, I did try switching to the plane after loading another at the airport. I do not own the Wilco 737 either. I have the Feelthere ERJv2, but I did go and check the dll.xml as suggested on PMDG's site and it looked ok, so I just don't know. I am certainly no expert in programming so I may have missed something, but I did look at the thing as closely as I could.I have tried every fix I could find on Google, even wiping out and re-building my fsx.cfg which was frustrating in its own right ... The only other thing I can think to try is to completely re-load FSX from scratch. I believe I'd sell the disc before I went to that extreme HAHAI do still have FS9 loaded on my pc and have the PMDG Beech 1900D on there...do you think there might be some conflict with older PMDG files? The MD-11 is my only FSX PMDG plane.

Ok, now I have tried twice to register on PMDG so I can submit a service request but I do not receive a verification e-mail. Yes I checked spam folder, and I tried two e-mail addresses, one of which is from my ISP.I hope I can sell this airplane on e-bay or something. This experience has not been very pleasant.Thanks for attempting to help, Travis. I appreciate it.

No, I don't. The only thing that happens is that the cursor spins for a moment and then the crash comes.I am on Vista-64 by the way

Hi all,I have looked through the forums and have tried a few suggested fixes for this problem with no success and it is becoming very depressing Would someone please help?I just got the boxed version of the MD-11 today, installed it (as admin), started up FSX, then when i went to load the plane, I got some generic error about a "fatal error occuring" and FSX proceeds to restart. I have tried a few tips I read here including multiple installs, looking over my dll.xml in Notepad++, I have re-added the UIAutomationCore.dll to my FSX root directory, I have tried to load the plane from splash screen and by changing to the aircraft from another plane in game... NOTHING works.I do have a Feelthere lane loaded (the ERJ v2) but like I said, I checked the dll.xml and it appears to be fine.What other information do you need in order to help me?thank you
