About Me

  • About Me
Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Major at Oklahoma State University. My love of aviation started when I was about 3 with the roar of 3 JT8D's from a 727 taking off from Cochabamba, Bolivia and is leading me too down my chosen career path.
  1. I have been using the CH Eclipse Yoke and Pro Pedals for about 2 years now with out any issues. After a Windows 10 update last night, both the Yoke and Pedals have become unresponsive. Checking device manager shows the following error: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) {Bad Image} %hs is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0x I unfortunately did not have system restore set up before this update so that is out of the option. I have tried other USB ports on my PC with no avail. I have the Yoke and Pedals plugged into a USB hub along with my TrackIR setup and the TrackIR still works flawlessly. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remedy this situation?
  2. Took the Carenado Cessna T210M Centurion on a flight over the Rockies from Pueblo (KPUB) to Montrose (KMTJ). Cruising at 18,000 was no problem for the turbocharged Centurion. 4. Took my new Carenado Cessna 337 Skymaster on an early morning flight from Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport (KTMB) to San Andros Airport (MYAN) on Andros Island. This is probably the first time in nearly a week that I have been able to get on flight simulator and this flight was quite relaxing. 8. Beautiful Scenery and nice looking plane.
  9. The whole area is pretty interesting. The entire area was one part of an ocean a few million years ago and that helped create many of the features common to the region, notably the Mesa ranges (known as the Blaine Escarpment) and the red dirt. A few miles south of Freedom is Alabaster Caverns State Park which is home to the largest Gypsum Cave in the world that is open to the public.
  10. Your shots make me want to fire up my 757, need to relearn how to operate it first.
  11. Took my new Alabeo Piper Tri-Pacer from Freedom Municipal Airport (K77) in Freedom, OK to Fairview Municipal Airport (6K4) in Fairview, OK. 14. After not having been able to fly for a few days, I took the A2A Cherokee for a VFR tour around the Swiss Alps. Took this one as I found a pass that allowed me to fly over the mountains without having to climb higher than I already was (10,500 ft). SwissCherokee-2 by David Covarrubias, on Flickr
