Eaglesoft Citation II takeoff alarm

Featured Replies

I recently got the Eaglesoft Citation II for FS9 and everytime I try to take off I get the master caution alarm.  I have everything set as per the manual,  Flaps are at 15 degrees, Trim is between 5 and 7.5 degrees, anti-skid is on, and the brake is off but I still get the alarm.  Is it something I am forgetting?

Its a miracle that any aircraft handled by me is able to be used again.

My Modest Rig (Laptop is a must, need to be mobile for college): MSI GE60 Apache/ Intel I7-4710HQ @ 2.5 GHz/ 8GM Ram/ Nvidia GTX 850M/1TB HDD/ 125 GB SSD.

Gear: CH Eclipse Yoke, CH Pro Pedals, Trackir 5

Scenery That I Use: ORBX FTX Global, Vector, OpenLC NA, Trees HD, FreemeshX, REX Texture Direct w/ Soft Clouds

Careful with pushing the thrust levers too much forward on takeoff.  There are no FADEC on this plane.  that warning is telling you your power setting is too high.

Watch out for overspeed at cruise, I found about 80% throttle at FL320 gives a groundspeed of about 350knots(depending on wind), and use an approach speed of 120 knots over the fence reducing to idle over the piano keys or it will stall and land heavily. At great early biz jet that requires a lot of throttle management, but gives a rewarding flight.

Sorry for going off-topic. This is just a friendly reminder I'd like to pass on about AVSIM's changed signature rules. In a nutshell: You're no longer allowed to have your system specs in your signature, but rather in the provided tab of your profile. For further information please read the Signature Rules. Thank you for your cooperation.

Best regards,

Florian
