ILS Autotune
Hi Is the PMDG MD-11 fitted with ILS autotune. I just purchased this aircraft and reading the FMS Guide I get the impression it is not necessary. The tutorial EGLL-LSZH also let's me believe it is not necessary as it says it will perform a total autoland and yet did not mention the ILS freq. Inserting the ILS freq in the FMS is no big deal but for curiosity's sake, i'd like to know whether or not I am missing something. Thanks JGComp

Aircraft Lights - Taxis and runways
Thanks for your input. No I didn't change that. At least, I don't recall. My "spotlight.bmp" is still in my texture folder and it is dated 12/05/2006.Jean-Guy

Aircraft Lights - Taxis and runways
Hi,Can someone tell me how to have aircraft lights illuminating taxiways or runways in 2D cockpit. All is OK when in V Cockpit. When looking at the aircraft from the top-down (press F12), lights can be seen in a cone shape illuminating in front of the aircraft but cannot be seen going back to the 2D cockpit.I have looked in the FSX.cfg, Aircraft.cfg, panel, etc. Anyone knows? Or is it reserved to Virtual cockpit only?ThanksJean-Guy

Post SP1b LNAV Issue?
I had today a problem navigating from CYOW to CYUL that resemble very much to what you described. Course line disappeared after reaching HOKKE enroute to EBMOK. Aircraft began swaying left to right and back. Reactivating EBMOK solves the problem. Course line reappears then and aircraft stabilize on course.

JS41 Cockpit
Hi expert simmers, I need to know how you guys “navigate” around your virtual cockpits such as the VC found on the PMDG JS41. I purchased one of those. It runs well but I admit I am more familiar with 2D cockpits. I seem to have difficulties with “going around” in my cockpit without losing track of essential views such as taking off, descent preparation and landing. Going from my FMS (I am aware of 2D popups) to the pitch wheel/control, to the flight director and so on makes things difficult in keeping a general view of what’s going on in the performance of the aircraft. So if someone can teach me tips and tricks on “manipulating” this cockpit, I would dearly appreciate. Jean-Guy
