  1. Thank you all for your answers. It seems like i have to live with that kind of "FSX feature". But it is not a big thing. Only sometimes a little annoying. Matt Neville
  2. Hello together, i have some kind of a strange problem. Even if i have the dynamic head movement settings in the fsx.cfg file all set to 0, i have still a movement of the pov in the virtual cockpit. I already tried different settings of my TrackIR because i thought maybe that has some influence but no difference. Even if it's deactivated, there is still some movement especially at landings after touchdown. Is there another possibility, i haven't took into account? Thanks, Matt Neville
  3. Hi Rob, thats a great idea, thanks! Now i have an easy solution. Matt
  4. Thanks guys! Your suggestions sound great. I'll try them. I know, descent planning is some kind of science and at the moment i'm not quite bad in it. But always want to go as close as possible to the real thing. Of course it's a simulation and has it's limitations :-) Matt
  5. Thanks for the fast reply. It was theoretical for descent planning before TOD. For example to have a fixed speed at the beginning of a procedure turn that is not mandatory in the selected procedure. Because sometimes this leads to excessive use of speed brakes because the standard speed is to high for the turn and the TOD calculation is using the standard speed (which is 240) in this case (even if i use speed intervene).
  6. Hello together, is it possible to enter a speed restriction manually in the legs page without entering an alt restriction? If i try like "250/" ill get an "invalid entry" message. Matt Neville
  7. I also had the same problem when I tried to break off the Localizer/DME at LOWI to land at RWY08. To leave the Localizer i had to change from APP Mode to HDG Mode. So i pushed the TO/GA button and at that second the FPS decreased from around 23 to 5-8 FPS and stayed at that level until I quit FSX. I had no crash and was able to land the bird. I don't have a high end system. Windows XP 32 Bit with 2 Gigs if RAM, Dualcore Pentium 3.2 GHz and NVidia 9800GT. But i got this bird run smooth at most conditions. On the last 10 flights i had no freezes or crashes. Matt Neville
  8. Hi Folks, we are not the only ones, waiting for our plane to fly. Maha Vajiralomkorn, the crown prince of Thailand is also waiting. His plane, a 737-400, unfortunately has been seized by the authorities on the Airport in Munich, Germany. And after about 2 Weeks it's still here. :-)For more details, have a look here So can you imagine, how it would be for him to wait all that days long? :-) Greets from Munich,Matt Neville
  9. Thanks for the fast answer. And in which case the "Battery assist" function will be used? Does it make sense to use this function if you have a GPU available? Because then the batteries will be also discharged.Matt Neville
  10. First i want to say thank you to PMDG for this wonderful simulation!I have a question about the ground power switch, because i cannot find the answer in the manuals. What is the difference between the switch positions "ON" and "ON/Battery Assist"? If there is a difference, is it also simulated? Thanks in advance for the answer!Matt Neville
