So I am loving my PMDG 737NGX Aircraft.... I've only been flying it for a couple of weeks but still the experience is MOST amazing. So I mainly just do direct flights airport to airport, but I wanted to start doing more realistic high altitude navigation. I've tried on several occasions to use the jet routes on the En Route Charts in nDAC (For example, flying between KABQ and KDEN (Short Flight I know) I could either use J13 or J15, but the FMC says there not on in the database. I am using the current navigation data, as provided by Navigraph for my PMDG products and I do keep all my charts updated (I spend a lot of money on credits to do so), but still I can seem to get the routes accepted in the FMC. I've never had problems using jet routes on my PMDG 747 or MD-11. Any thoughts? On a separate but related note, is the "Gate" info on the POS screen of the FMC just for looks or can it actually be used. Last night I was parked at B23 doing passenger loading and pre-flight setup, but when I put in the gate it also says "not in database". Tracking Steve's flight.... Normally it's pretty much a straight line from DFW to ABQ, looks like AA has diverted to avoid a strong line of storms between the two. Looking at the Tracking he looked to be about 10 minutes from leaving US Airspace, almost entering Mexican Airspace. New arrival time is estimated at 11:31 local time.

Delta can't calculate a fair between ABQ to DFW, apparently no one fly's on Delta to Dallas.

BMW is back home.... total cost... $1310.00, 450 in parts... the rest was freakin labor... I'm pretty sure I just paid for someones CNM tuition for the Summer Term.

17 years of Government endorsed discrimination ends today. The Senate voted to repeal Don't Ask Don't Tell, passing the same bill that the house passed just a few days ago. The bill now goes to President Obama for signature, and then to the Pentagon to move "swiftly and purposefully" according to Defense Secretary Gates to implement the repeal. Now on to DOMA!

The Senate passed the Bush Tax cuts or what should be called, "Let's screw the children of today and reward the wealthy" bill, as soon as it passed, the Dow went from +36 points to -12....
