Have any of you had this problem?

X-Plane 11 (Steam VR, Vive Pro headset) crashes in mid-flight, Event Viewer says the culprit is ntdll.dll.

Any aircraft, any region, doesn't matter.

Sometimes it happens within the first ten or fifteen minutes, sometimes after an hour.

I've re-installed the display drivers (AMD) several times just to be sure but it's still happening.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I couldn't even start beta 11 with an error of ntdll.dll - I found it was Avitab.  not working so well with windows 10 2004 update.

Having said what I just said I suddenly thought why don't I turned the 'Ignore Crashes and Damages' ON. What would happen?

So I did and 'Lo and Behold' I finally found myself at VHHH ready for take. So there you go. How silly .

Hope others will find this good also.

    Kind regards

    Hi mate

Been at this for days.  Turn off detect crashes and it works.

    Thanks

Yes indeed let us hope so. I have tried everything to no avail. It seems like another waste of money.

I bought VHHH on an upgrade after promising myself after buying P3D v5 pro that I wouldn't buy anything and only install planes and scenery that are compatible.

I'm sorry some of you are having issues. I'm not surprised. I stopped buying T2G after KSEA was released for P3D v4 and experienced poor customer support. Some devs don't deserve my hard earned $$$.

Been at this flight sim stuff since FS98 but I cannot get VHHH to work.  Think it must be something else I have installed like orbx maybe interfering.  Who knows.

Best to you all and stay safe.

I bought this product yesterday but when I start P3D and then try to go to VHHH I immediately get the 'Crash' window and the sim starts again with my default at Ksea. Straight to the the crash screen and that is it. Very strange. Anyone out there have any idea what may be wrong? There are 2 files in the Scenery. cfg pointing to VHHH and VHHH-TERRAIN. It is very sad that it does not work. Hope I can be helped,

    Kind regards

Got this too.  I have tried all suggestions but no luck.  I am hoping that next update from T2G helps.

  5. Hi all

Each time I delete the shader folder and Prepar3D.cfg they are added again by p3d (all good) but what about the user saved profiles in my documents folder?

I have a profile for day flying and one for night.  Should these be deleted at same time and then saved again?

I did search but wanted to be clear on this.

    Thanks, Allan

  6. Hi all.

I asked this question years ago in a truck sim forum and am interested in what flight simmers think.

With the recent 4.2, airbus etc updates I found a lot of people impatient for the latest patch/update to their favourite plane/scenery.  So I thought its not the flight sim platform some are interested in its just the need to have the latest updates the most expensive plane and not actually flying!

For me, it is both.  Been flight siming for 25+ years and am comfortable with a stable version with no CTD etc but with a study plane in good scenery.

  7. Hi RobbieI think you will find that most of us use FSBUILD http://www.fsbuild.com/ to create flight plans that can be saved in PMDG format. Once in the cockpit the plan can be entered into the FMC and then its just a case of runway and SID/STAR entry. This will also let you see the legs etc in the FMC for reference.Or, use RouteFinder http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/ and then manually enter the waypoints into the FMC if you prefer.Hope this points you in the right direction. As an old school teacher once said to me; "if all else fails, read the instructions" :( (user manual).

  8. Awesome post Steve. Also, keep in mind:FLEX is purely an Airbus term.De-rate and assumed temp are what you're looking for.
Does that mean that boeing use the term ASSUMED which is FLEX for Airbus. The reason I ask is that in TOPCAT I am able to tick "allow assumed/flex temp take off" or "allow derated take off" or "allow combination of both". I use allow assumed/flex temp take off only, as Steve above says that BA do not usually allow derated take offs unless empty. I know this is a question for the TOPCAT forum :( but since we are on the subject...
