PSXT CTD after 10/1/24 MSFS update
Because it just started after I started up the sim, it updated, and when I turn on PSXT after this update, PSXT stays on for a little while then shuts down. It wasn't doing that 12 hours earlier prior to the update.

PSXT CTD after 10/1/24 MSFS update
Hi Nico, Since the last update I've been dealing with an unknown CTD of PSXT. I can get PSXT up and running but it doesn't stay on long before it shuts down. Latest log included. Thank you so much!

iFly 737NG Looks Great in P3DV2
Man I wish I could figure out what you're doing to get frame rates like that? I supposedly have a "smokin" machine that I'm getting mid teens on my iFly for Prepare3D and I'm sorely disappointed. I don't know what to do, either. Granted, I'm a complete newbie to Prepare3D so I'm sure there is some tweaking but I don't think it's going to get me 50 FPS. Does the iFly require any work to get it to really shine nicely in this program? In the mean time, I'm going back to FS9 where I know my iFly works nice.

Unable to install, no support yet, please help
First, thanks for your help! The installer took with that info once I was finally able to sort out which account was which. I think the confusion had something to do with the fact that I have two accounts from the looks of things; one with Comcast and one with Hotmail. I'd love to merge those two but have no idea how to. Secondly, where did Paul respond to them and where are those open tickets? I deleted the e-mails from the support page that had the ticket numbers on them SO when I go to look them up, I really can't cause it since it keeps asking for a ticket number that I didn't keep. It'd be really nice if there was just a list of ticket numbers populated on there so I could go in that way. Anyway, if Paul responded to those in there, I'm out of luck since I can't cross reference within your site. Regardless, tho, it does appear from the look of things that it's up and running properly now. Thank you so much for your help Ryan. I appreciate it.

Interesting Ryan. Ok, tell ya what, I'm on my way to your support forum right now. I'll submit a ticket and put the number on here in an effort to see where this is breaking down hopefully. Thank you for taking the time to help! Russ Ryan, here's the ticket number: 0B2-19093518-040E. I put the original order number on there, too, as opposed to the recent reactivation order number of 222362. Either way, you have them both now. Any help would be very welcome. Thanks in advance!

Unable to install, no support yet, please help
Thanks Ryan but I actually have submitted several tickets about this, without any responses to any of them, which is why I hesitantly resorted to posting on here... The e-mails I submitted were more or less copies of the tickets I submitted since I wasn't getting any responses. Any recommendations?

Unable to install, no support yet, please help
PMDG, I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do with my failed install of the MD-11 for FS9 since I've sent multiple e-mails to support with no response for two weeks. I recently purchased a new computer and I'm trying to install the product on my machine with no success. I purchased the extended download service, and got the link from Paul, but when I try to install it, it asks for my original (I presume) password that I used when I first downloaded it years ago. Unfortunately, I've long lost that, your system will not send me a password reminder (despite multiple requests and attempts), and it appears that any/all of my e-mails to "support" are either being ignored or filtered out. Considering your amazing standing in the flight sim world, and your known wonderful customer service, I'm really surprised but assume that this is just an oversight some how. I'd REALLY like to install the MD-11 on my new system so I really need some help from y'all. Sincerely, Russ O'Dell

Database NOT_VALID
I dropped the cash on the extended download service since I didn't have the original .exe from months ago. While I'm really kind of ticked off that it wasn't enough that I dropped $80 on the MD-11 to begin with months ago but also had to give up another $5 for an "extended download" service, I'm happy to have the original file back up and running on my machine. Lesson learned: keep the .exe's on an external hard drive so when Microsoft products do their thing and dump everything, you have some measure of recovery.

Database NOT_VALID
PMDG MD-11 folks: I've searched a bit and can't seem to find anything on this subject in the forums but my database is showing "NOT_VALID" under the A/C STATUS page. I can't load any waypoints, flight plan information, etc... I recently had an error in MSFS9 that forced me to reinstall the program. Fortuantely, I had MOST of my MSFS9 files backed up on an external hard drive so I just copied those files over once the reinstall was complete. Could this be the cause of the database error? If it is, would y'all know how I can fix it? I was just thinking I should reinstall the MD-11 all over again but it doesn't look like I'm allowed to download the .exe from PMDG to try this. Can anyone help with this perplexing problem? Thanks in advance! Russ

PMDG MD-11 FS2CREW cycling through all commands on takeoff
Why would FS2CREW be cycling through all the commands up to the descent checlist when I retract the gear? It's causing the jet to stall at low altitude because the flaps/slats are retracted prematurely requiring quick interaction on my part to keep the bird flying. I'm using FS9, Win7 (64 bit), all patches installed for FS and Windows. Thanks for the help.
