Yes, the RAM I am running is 1.5v. and the RAM I want to run is 1.5v. So all is good? Thank you all. Bert, I see your name all over these forums and greatly respect your opinion. So, what do you think will solve my problem beyond the RAM issue, please, Sir.

The Crucial website suggests that my GIGABYTE (ga-78lmt-usb3) can run ballistix 8-8-8-24 when my 8 gig stock DDR RAM was shipped to me on MOBO with timing of 11-11-11-28 with (now up-graded) AMD 8350 with hyper 212 heat-sink & fan, GTX 770, and a 750 W PSU. My current RAM runs at a speed of 1600. The MOBO manual states "support for DDR3 1333+ (o.c.) /1066 MHz memory modules". Right now everything runs lightning fast and silky smooth since I only use this rig for FSX. But once in a while, the windscreens in the PMDG NGX take about a second or two to populate scenery when panning to the left (out of the windows). Very annoying. Now using a WD 1 TB HDD drive. I installed an SSD but don't know what to do with it yet, so I'm investigating RAM at the moment. I have searched the forums for days now, but found nothing definitive about this. Question: is it wise to go from CL 11 all the way to 8 and expect it to work properly without a lot of BIOS tweaks? That would be great if it could work, but... Thank you all. I will much appreciate any feed back on this.

Can anyone tell me if go flight EFIS & MCP modules are compatible with IFly? And if so, how do you like them?

I just bought a new rig, loaded up fs9 and Ifly...downloaded REX. Everything was going great! So I started adding more. Popped an old version of FDC in to add, and things weren't so great anymore. It tells me that the program can't start because MSVCR71.dll is missing. Fine. I moved on and tried to reconfigure REX and was told that d3dx9_32 &34.dll was missing. Can some kind person tell me what in the world is going on and how to fix it? Thanks!

Can someone please help? I've been working on this for a few days with no luck. All the forums and the PDF that came with the patch are old and maybe dont apply anymore. How do you create the FSGLC folder with the fsglc_us.bgl in it, and where do I put it so the scenery library can find it??? Also the same for the UTCITY. If MS wont let me use " \ " then how do I name a folder SCENERY\FSGLC\SCENERY and so on? aaaaaaand the LC files in my UTUSA folder all end with XXX instead of BGL and there is upwards of 150 of them. Do I copy each one individually? And with XXX is something wrong? If someone can take the time to explain this like your talking to a 2 year old I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks,Rich

I just bought Flight Environment and it goes great with GE and UT. But I suddenly have unlimited visability and can't change it. I usually fly with 30 mi. vis. and MAX_UNLIMITED_VIS = 30000 instead of the default 96560 in fs9CFG which looks very realistic. These products together with FSG mesh are...WOW! FSX who cares? But I would like to get my haze back - Any thoughts?Rich
